I remember being there for the replay, a devastated kid when the penalty was given against Osman for hand ball.

Absolute no brainer, of course football has to be put on hold. High profile cases such as Arteta are really going to allow us all how this virus is taking hold, let's see how many more cases are confirmed out of the Emirates in the next few days. Question is, will this season ever be concluded? I'd be surprised if it is quite frankly, no idea what decision Prem lge and EFL will make then re promotions/relegations etc.

Five Point Protest Aims to Focus Frustrations

NSV, direct action may give the fans more leverage but first there needs to be an agenda. The powers that be need to know exactly what the thoughts of the fans are.

A well balanced and sensible approach in an attempt to be heard. Correct to clearly state it is not an "Evans out" campaign. Who knows, it may just lead to some answers.

Predictable. The second we concede it's game over, and the opposition know it. The only surprise today was a decent crowd!

Blues Look to Revive Faltering Season Against High-Flying Sky Blues

Mark Robins clearly has not watched a minute of our football recently! Lambert most certainly has not got us "fighting and scrapping"! If only we could see that then I could forgive results!

Shouldn't have been loaned out in my opinion. He was running riot in the u23's and earned a regular spot in our squad.

Barton: Sad to Hear Some of the Noises Circling Around Here
at 07:08:50

Bluearmy81, charming toward fellow fans as ever! ITFC free if Evan's walked??? What if he walks and calls in his debt? What about the millions of losses every year that need to be covered? I feel the need to defend myself every time I make such a comment by stating I am not an Evan's fan, simply a realist.

I'll admit to thinking Lambert was a decent appointment for us. I'm not sure why given his record, maybe I was just relieved to see Hurst and Doig gone. Unfortunately, since day 1 I've found it more and more difficult to support him. I'd never understood what a spin doctor he was prior to him arriving at Portman rd. It then quickly became apparent that we had appointed a massive ego, who point blank refused to listen to anyone. That's all fine if you can back it up with results on the pitch. The start to the season was an entirely false dawn, somehow grinding out results with good fortune far out weighing performance levels....the wheels were bound to fall off and very quickly did. Then along came squad rotation. His bizarre policy of "playing at Klopp". Players who were performing well for a game or two dropped and replaced training ground style, unsurprisingly resulting in disjointed and unfamiliar performances, and ultimately losing ones. So, we've started to slip but are hanging around the top of the table thanks to faltering from those around us. Cue the "you don't win anything in Nov/Dec/Jan" interviews. Oh, I nearly forgot the international break postponements even when only losing 1 or 2 players, in the middle of winning runs. Totally contradicted his squad rotation, basically announcing we need our strongest line up to compete! And now? Abject failure. Nobody, not 1 person other than the manager would have made that team selection for the Fleetwood game. Bizarre. Some may defend him by saying he needed more financial support. We'd all like to see that I'm sure but it just isn't going to happen in the current circumstances and financial situation. He knew what he was dealing with when he signed up. The best managers get the very best out of their resources, Lambert has proved he cannot. Sir Alex Ferguson had, in my opinion, probably the greatest ability ever as a manager turning above average players into world class internationals. In the short term Lambert did well at pulling our club together, that doesn't last long in the memory when performance on the pitch hits such a low. Thanks Lambo (I think!), time to go.

I'm no Evan's sympathiser, I'll make that clear first! He's made some real howlers during his tenure. I do feel confident though that he's far too shrewd to offer a five year contract to a manager who has only been here a short time, and with little success.

Forget Lamberts contract. Whatever your opinion of Evan's he is an incredibly astute and successful business man. IF he had his fingers burned with Hurst he would not allow a second such situation in such a short space of time. My money says Lambert himself suggested rolling out a 5 year contract simply as more of his PR. Performance related clauses are written into contracts in so many businesses, football is certainly no exception. ITFCsince73, £3m would have guaranteed promotion? That buys 2 Kayden Jacksons in today's market.

Lambert: Everybody at the Club is Suffering
at 06:51:30

He's even beginning to contradict his own decisions now! He really has lost the plot. I am not usually a big advocate of managerial changes, but I think the prompt sacking of Hurst was the right thing to do and Lambert should be next. How can he patronize us by even attempting to justify anything about his team selection, tactics and the evenings "performance"? How dare he claim that "the guys give us everything"? And now he's saying we must start winning games?! Prior to Fleetwood he called that a "must win".......we didn't, so what now?

No manager can save our season. The best we can hope for is somebody that our better players want to stay and play for, else I fear a mass exodus in the summer.
