I think there is something there in that partnership with Harper and Evans, I think with a defensive minded player behind them they could move up the pitch with more confidence and create more chances. I would love to ask Mick if he saw Middlesbrough beat united at old Trafford last night, ok it was on penalties but Boro put out their best side and knocked Utd out. Mick rested his usual 11 for that game to concentrate on a 'big' league game against Bristol city and we have won 2 points since then, makes me wonder if denying the first team a run out at old Trafford has damaged their motivation. |

Anderson and Tabb have been very poor recently, once again they start and are poor, and get taken off just after half time, bishop and Sears come on and look dangerous, who would of predicted that?
I really like MM but recent interviews and tactics have been quite strange, like a post anice pointed out he seems to go in to pre match interviews saying how good the opposition are and how tough it will be, I know the championship is a tough league but it really is setting the team up to fail before they've even kicked a ball. He is so stubborn with his selections, it's quite clear we are struggling in wide areas and we have players like Stewart etc who aren't getting a look in |

@sbassett it's not about whether you trust Mick or not, I don't think anyone has been negative about him, it's about having a real genuine opportunity to finish in the top 2 and I believe we are only a few players short of having a squad capable of that. However like many others I feel this is an opportunity missed to make a real go of it. I take it you weren't at the game on Saturday otherwise I think you would see the squad needs a couple of additions, hate to say it but I feel we may start to slip now, look at the fixtures we have in March and what those clubs are doing with this window, can you honestly say we have what it takes to finish above teams like that without any additions. |

I was impressed with our final position last season and I didn't expect us to finish there and I really believed that with a couple of signings to give us a bit more creativity and some extra goals that we really would be a good side this season but the reality is on Saturday we are going to be fielding the exact same side with the same tactics apart we now don't have Cresswell or Williams! Very disappointing.... |
