Was interested (and a bit surprised) to see that we're pretty much middle of the pack here so far. Given that we'll wait a bit longer to get the quality additions we need this is quite encouraging (although I'd still like to see another CM and 9 in as soon as possible!)
This looks like a good watch. Long interview with Lee Grant before he left - not only looks at his own journey but how the club approach player development, use of data and the performance department.
The latest Kings of Anglia podcast is the interview with Mark Ashton from which Stu Watson has written a series of articles. Most of it has already come out in the printed articles but when talking about infrastructure projects at the ground Ashton suggests more Safe Standing is coming.
I'm guessing with season ticket renewals already out we'll be looking at next summer rather than this one though?
Right footed but I think he's played quite a bit at LCB. A free agent who might be a good replacement for Burgess but has flexibility to play either CB role.
I suspect this is just agent/club trying to drive up the fee from the German club, who apparently have a bid in, but here is a striker link to brighten up your day!
Valentin Rosier (CD Legane) and Max Johnston (Sturm Graz) both linked by this X account this afternoon. Has a reasonably large following with a European transfer focus. Quite possibly agent led.
Good video here from the PGMOL with some examples of the communication that takes place between officials and with players during a game.
A certain Mr Luke Chambers also appears.
I'd like to see much more of this communication released post-match - particularly when there have been dubious decisions as you would be able to hear what communication took place and why the ref made the decision he did in real time.
Not that I've seen a huge amount of him but he's always looked like he has the ball playing ability. If he's doing the rough and tumble stuff as an 18 year old in the National League then he might be one who kicks on:
For anyone who wants to double screen it or watch the Ipswich Irish contingent in action rather than the England game then it's being streamed live on YouTube here:

We wouldn't be the first club to turn the TV studio into an extra hospitality box when it's not being used by the TV companies. This would be an excellent spot to watch the game.
It will be interesting to see how the fast track player to ref programme works out. There have been lots of calls to get ex-players doing this but getting the right former players to apply seems to be the key.
