Indeed - I’ve got a ticket and I can’t wait to be there looking at the acts who are playing. Not the main ones, but there are 15+ acts who I really want to see plus another 15+ who I’ll go to if I can and that’s so far….they’ll be plenty more. And all that’s not factoring in just the event itself outside of the music, I’ve been many times and it’s still superb.
Late to the party...but then it doesn’t matter as 8 of my top 10 are on Epiphones list! I was unaware of the Elephant Stone and the This is the kit tracks and they are now added to my new ditties playlist. Instead the two I would’ve had are:
What you’re saying is a bit odd. You seem to agree that we are basically rubbish - I.E. you’ve cancelled your season ticket and you say we haven’t got the players to compete and yet you’re having a go at people on here for having a moan about the situation! The specific moan asking to change the manager is definitely understandable and more constructive than stopping you ST and sitting quietly on your hands for 2 years?!
I had one of those and along with my son, gave it as an offering to Sir Bobbys statue when he sadly passed. Never thought it would be worth that much but (even though I’m sure it would’ve been nicked) I’m still very glad that we did it, it showed my son what SirBob meant to me.
Did your fellow wee budgie also mention how we've embarrassed ourselves by putting two statues outside Portman Road of two hugely successful England managers - what are we like!!
Your handle 'thegloryyears' - can you remind me of when they were exactly??
I would like to see ‘NW Blue’ (which I guess stands for no way blue) say a positive thing about Ipswich which at the same time puts the budgies down....maybe along the lines of “the only reason we go on about our history is because we’ve got one and they haven’t....”
I run fairly frequently and the only bit of advice I give any newbies is invest in good shoes. Preferably go to runners world or something along those lines and get them to video you running, so you get the correct brand, as they all have different strengths. It will lessen the chance of strains etc
