| Forum Thread | I really feel for some of our fans at 09:36 23 Aug 2023
From what I have been reading, I don't know how some of our fans will react when 90% of the players, who get us promoted to the PL, will eventually get sold for better players. I think a few might spontaneously combust. |
| Forum Thread | Disgruntled fans at 13:55 17 Jul 2022
There has been lots of posts recently from 'disgruntled fans' They don't like the London away day lads They don't like Stone Island They don't like the C word They don't like drunkenness Don't like lads abusing failure etc etc Do these away day lads, fight? Use racism chants? Use homophobic chants? etc.. No they don't (I've not heard / seen them if they do). They go and have a good day out following their team, who they love, in they way they enjoy. If they like to have a few beers and use the C-word and sing on the train, who are they hurting? Especially nowadays, people need a release on a Saturday. The North Stand used to be a great place to go on a Saturday afternoon, now it's full of old woman and wet wipes who want to be in there, because it's the North stand, but don't want any of the old antics. We now even have to have a 'separate section' to sing because so many don't bother anymore. It never used to be like that, the whole stand used to sing!! |

Last week William Hill & SkyBet were both 5/4 for a top 6 finish. After the two signing last week both have trimmed the price to 11/10. I think a top 6 finish is by far the best bet. I wouldn't ever guarantee us promotion, but you can almost guarantee us a top 6 finish. Put as much as you like on and in a few months you've more than doubled your money. Like finding it on the floor. I've 'lumped on' |
| Forum Thread | If Delia ran the club at 09:05 20 Feb 2021
I hate Norwich, I hate Norwich city with a passion, but their owner did something clever. If she ran the football club, where would Norwich be? Mid table in L1 perhaps, maybe further down. She was lucky to start with, she got Lambert with a decent No2, he inherited Wes Hoolahoop and that fat, cheating, diving prick upfront who I cannot even bring myself to write his name. They lived off a double promotion for a while before it went stale again. Then she said, sod this, this is staring to look awful again with massive debts, so went out and got one of the best director's of football out there in Stuart Webber. Has has vision, is very pro active and you can see what structure he has and is putting in place. Ipswich on the other hand are still being run by somebody who, after 13 years, still has no clue how to run a football club. There is no visible structure. No recruitment policy. No vision, no drive and certainly no transparency. Ipswich have been at many crossroads over the last 13 years and have taken the wrong path each time. Surely it's now time for the owner to go out there, get someone who knows how to run a football club and try to turn around this sinking ship. But can anyone see that happening? Sadly not! |

I've had him in my tracker since you posted last year, so won a few quid saturday. He even survived and of season cull in case he came good. Cheers Rommers. I've got him at 100/1 for the CH, so I hope he gets supplimented. I also have Epatante at 28/1 & Honeysuckle at 10s, So fingers crossed for one of them. I've had quite a few anti post this year. Marie's Rock getting pulled out last week has hurt me though. I'll be there Thursday & Friday. Can't wait. |
| Forum Reply | Funniest thing you have heard shouted at an Ipswich Match at 07:24 12 Feb 2020
When Lee Chapman got exposed as a cheat in the 'News of the World', the North Stand sung 'You only score in Ibiza', to which he laugh and clapped the stand. A dozen games in and he still hadn't scored, he didn't find the song, which was still being sung, so amusing. |

An amazing achievement and some people are slating him for having help. It's not as though he got help from someone on a motorbike is it? |

It's the unwritten rule in cricket, to warn the batsman first. It's the same as when a player is down injured and you kick the ball out for him to get treatment, then they opposition doesn't throw you the ball back. Everyone goes mad. If this happens this summer with Smith & Warner involved, there will be riots haha. |

Nichols & Cobdan (and Bryony) are flying at the moment, very much in form, hopefully they'll keep it up until Cheltenham. I see you're off to Cheltenham. Unfortunately I'm away for it this year, but went to Gold Cup day last year to see Might Bite / Native River slog it out up the hill. Absolutely love the Cheltenham festival. As I'm missing it, I'm hopping over to Dublin for the Punchestown festival at the end of April then fly back for the 2000 Guineas. |

I couldn't find the form when beating Quel Destin, who won very well the other Saturday. Fakir Doudaries won very well Saturday, and is a fast improving type. He finished last at 28/1 when PIC D’ORHY was beaten as an odds on favourite. He's not won a race since April last year, so I bet you're hoping he has a run very soon to prep him for the Triumph. Good Luck, could be a good E/W shout if he gets a prep race or two. |
