surely if we go up the TV money will fund summer signings (yes I know we don't receive it as soon as we go up but our owners can potentially cover that) - maybe we get to keep Davis unless we get a ridiculous offer...
I don't think you're being confrontational - I just think that 2 issues are being conflated here...I don't disagree with your point - my post was in reaction to a post that said that away fans should have less priority and should be seen as less important than home fans because the money they spend on tickets goes to our competitors rather than ITFC...
So people who attend home games are more loyal than those who spend thousands following us to far flung grounds on a wet cold Tuesday night? Not sure I agree with that tbh... Maybe we should just charge away fans £60 a ticket whilst we are at it...after all it's all FFP...maybe put the price of home tickets up too to ensure that only 'true' fans come and watch us?
yeah I really hope that the club read his blubbing post and change the rules so that someone who bothers their arse to go to home games misses out just so that he can persuade his disinterested son to change his allegiance...what a tool...
I think the point was that Francesca seriously injured another player because of her size/strength in relation to the other players - it's not an argument about her ability rather her physical stature/attributes. Also football is not a 'non-contact' or 'semi-contact' sport is it?
Would the ideal solution be to have a separate transgender category for more physical sports? I guess the pragmatic barrier to this (without getting into the 'rights and wrongs' of it) might be the numbers of competitors - e.g. finding enough transgender people to make up a football team in one area
