I've only seen clips via Tv YouTube he certainly looks better going forward, good technique & pacey! I'd imagine he will be a replacement for Janoi who's crossing & final ball Saturday was poor he would be better as a covering CentreBack: I still believe we need another Forward & a Winger if we get these done & get all injured players back, we have a squad that should be Top 6 at least! 2 points dropped going by a promising first half: lovely goal by Garbutt real shame he went off injured it changed the game as Judge is no where near Match Fit: Norwood & Jackson Bright first half but never in the game 2nd half service was poor but they couldn't keep the ball or threaten the goal on their own: Sunderland had 1 shot on goal & it came from a poor error from Chambers, he just needed to clear it dwelled on it & we played for it: I thought Downes was good again, Garbutt before he went off: Norwood Jackson partnership needs time or if we get a new striker for Norwood to link up with: We badly need another forward for competition & options! I thought going forward Janoi & Kenlock were poor HOLY never really tested: Rowe faded second half: I'm not worried about Luton as long as we don't get hammered & no more injuries not bothered if we go out if we beat Peterborough next Saturday |

Lambert is 100% correct for a club of our size to have a defender coming off & having too put a midfielder in the defence as we don't have anyone else is not right: I always thought the point of Lee O'Neill coming in was to make transfer dealings a lot easier with better communication & doing the work that maybe Evans couldn't & basically becoming the middle man between Evans & Lambert: it would be nice to here why we've not been active in the market much this summer we all no about the drop in revenue but surely we have some funds I never thought we would be signings players for Millions: will the situation change & suddenly 3/4 players arrive I doubt but something has to happen the squad it no where near strong enough for 60 + games! After Friday I thought Lambert could leave by end of August if not backed & I can still see that happen why stay if you don't think you can compete & challenge for promotion! |

Any optimism for a New Season has evaporated during this press conference I did wonder at 1 point if he was going to walk out as he is clearly so frustrated at lack of signings & squad depth interesting as Marcus Evans is at the club I was told today he can't have enjoyed Lamberts comments but I'm afraid Lambert is fully justified in his criticism to go into a new season so short of players is not good enough especially as it happened last season when Hurst didn't have defensive cover at Centre Half against Blackburn: I can only see this going 1 way if no signings by end of the month & poor start I can see Lambert leaving: we all know Evans needs to sell up but who's out there wanting to invest we can only hope there is someone otherwise we're going to be a league 1 club or lower for some time: I honestly thought signing Norwood early was a sign of intendbut Evans has glued the wallet shut: it was the most depressing pre-season press conference I've ever seen & I hate to think what he would say if we can't sign Wilson in time for Burton! Bartosz off the wage bill he goes out on loan for a season he could come back next season if we get promoted: Elliot contract up next summer if he does well regardless of division he could sign permanently next summer similar to Garbutt! I don't mind loans when there is a good chance of signing for the club at the end of the season: Norris is regarded as a Top goalkeeper according to NES he will give good competition to HOLY & he could sign if he plays & does well as I can't see him getting ahead of Patricio & Ruddy: I'd like to see a defender sign before the weekend |
