@Bluearmy71 To be fair to trncbluearmy, if Newcastle are relegated there could be job cuts or restructuring. If anything apart from if they have a relegation wage reduction clause in their contract, the players are safer if relegated as they have the guaranteed high paying contracts which are harder to get rid off. More on topic, Grant has done a great job and best of luck to him at Newcastle. |

We have Garner, Waghorn and McGoldrick who are all better then him.It made sense to sell a player who did not look up to it at this level across multiple sub appearances for considerable profit only a year on. But no lets REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE and have ago at mick for no good reason as usual :) |

Why the hell wasn't this done earlier on the season. We knew back in the summer time our Norwich game was scheduled to be on a sunday. I've scheduled going on a holiday leaving Wednesday to go to this game, but now I still miss it anyway. |
 | News Comment | McCarthy: Nashy's Been Very, Very Good at 17:53:13
Hot take - Gerard Nash the next manager after MM. (Especially as I reckon Mick will get his contract renewed so it'll still be a few years away) |

I'm happy with this as he's an average championship keeper and a decent back up to have. I like Dean. HOWEVER jfc, if we sell bart and he becomes our first choice.. like Mick said he did well when he came in and replaced him. I just imagine where we might have finished if Bart had gotten his place back as soon as he was ready following his family tragedy. Dean was at fault for at least a few goals during those games.. |
 | News Comment | McCarthy Targeting Wide Players and After More Midfield Goals at 17:36:51
@Tractorcam. You say that as if we've had the options and he chose to play two DM. Bishop has been out basically all season whilst he showed he wanted to do this against Brentfod with Bru but then he go injured and spent various spells out whilst struggling for fitness when back. So his hand was forced into playing Skuse with Hyam/Douglas the majority of the season. |
 | News Comment | McCarthy Set to Stick With Bart at 19:21:09
Very surprised by this. When Gerk came into the side it was 10-15 games before he started playing decently. Mick has claimed he was only responsible for 1 goal, but there were many more and Gerks kept his place. Don't get me wrong Gerken was playing very well before he got injured, but just a surprise he hasn't come back in with Mick's history. |

"bluelou - You ask if I'd rather Town were in League 1/2 having won the FA Cup. The answer is yes. League position is temporary. A trophy is another star on the badge, a place in the history books, and memories that last forever. It's the difference between being an Ipswich Town fan and being an Ipswich Town bookkeeper. Which one are you? " Yes how wonderful. We'd be in league one/two, Marcus Evans would lose interest and stop bankrollign us which is keeping us afloat since we would have no chance at the premiership. We would go into oblivion as there would be a chance we could end up like Chester or Portsmouth except we wouldn't have the fan power like portsmouth to bring it back. So we could lose the club completely, but at least we have that memory of one day. Jesus Christ go cry more. |

"I excitedly went along to Vicarage Road to see Town take on Premier League Watford. It was the most fun I've ever had watching a 1-0 defeat. There was a disallowed goal that I celebrated like a lunatic, before spotting the linesman's flag. We should have won. But it was a great occasion, despite the defeat." oh my god, my sides. Are you taking the mick? I went to that game, the only good thing about it was that hilarious goal celebration by Peters and Haynes for the disallowed goal. Otherwise nope. |

How the hell did you take from this this. He didn't hate the game he hated his colleagues attitudes and became really jaded by the sounds of things. |

I was still kind of hoping we would pick him up come the end of the transfer window, not that I thought he was overally amazing but he did a job. At least we don't have to face him as ex players always seem to turn it up against us. |
