Regarding the 20 goal a season striker. I think we got one from Burton (my memory is bad sorry) but the 21yo Moroccan lad. At the time we bought him he was the leagues top scorer with 5 goals over 5 or 6 games. He looks very promising youngster. |

my way of looking at this appointment is the glass half full method. If we have better coaching squad, who can give much better one on one coaching, surely that will lessen the injury issues we have plagued us for years, so we dont need so many players. Or have I lived in USA for way to long, and feel coaches are the only route? |

While reading about Evans watching the under 18yo's old Saturday, this story sprang to mind. Is PL going to step aside and take a director of football job? Then a couple of our younger managers going to step up into the first team with PL guiding them closely ? I was wanting this last years with Burley then the director of football. PL himself says something exciting is going to happen. This to me would be very exciting. |

Last night was the first time I have seen us play live (on tv) this season, mainly due to I live in Florida. Apart from the fact that we are very light up front, the one thing which was glaringly obvious to me is, we need 2 central defenders, big strong guys. LC is prone to to many mistakes, and Pennington is flat footed most of the time, and so not ready for Championship football. One player I was shocked about was Spence. He mopped up several of our central defenders errors and was full of running.
