"Your Dad's Not Proud of You"
at 21:04:14

As someone with several Norwich City supporting friends, I completely agree. I love the edge to the day, but it should just be pantomime for a few hours. No one should feel in danger. It'll be as bad when we go up there, which is sad.

Town and Imps to Show Solidarity With Ukraine
at 13:55:53

Churchmans. I can entirely understand where you are coming from and sometimes I fear we overload football with some of these issues. However, millions of people in Ukraine can't get any escapism because the actions of Putin and I hope as part of the collective reaction from around the world that this will help show those poor people that we are supporting them. Hopefully it will be of some comfort and whilst Putin won't take any notice of Ipswich & Lincoln doing this, it helps reinforce the resistence of civilised society to his actions.

EFL Aiming for June 6th Restart Claim
at 12:57:58

For what it's worth it seems unlikely that football will restart as early as that, but why are people having a go at the EFL for establishing an ambition for getting things restarted when affects livelihood's? Also the assumption from some seem to be that they will start again regardless of everything else, but all along the football authorities have clearly stated that they won't do anything unless it's safe to do so. And as football not mattering, that's right, it doesn't. But like so many other unimportant things like going out for a meal or a drink down the pub, it would be an immense psychological boost to see it return, even if it were behind closed doors. Let's not be so quick to knock those at the top for doing their jobs.

EFL Aiming to Resume Season Behind Closed Doors in June
at 23:49:32

Some of the comments on here..

It is quite clear that this is an aim, not a demand. And frankly I would be extremely worried if those running a game that affects the livelihoods of hundreds of thousands of people didn't have some sort of plan in place.

Surely it would be preferable to finish the season, even if not ideal to finish it without fans? But who the hell is expecting ideal from this situation?

Lambert: Whoever You Are You've Got to Earn the Right
at 13:53:55

In a sense, sitting in seventh isn't the issue. It's sitting in seventh after the start we had and how we've end up here and that is all down to Lambert's cockiness with squad rotation and unnecessary international breaks that broke up priceless momentum and confidence.

Town to Face Tottenham's U21s in EFL Trophy

Really just want us to get dumped out of this at the group stage. Total waste of time, will only distract us for the one thing that we need to do above all else this season, which is get back up. Use it as an opportunity for the kids and fringe players.

Season Review - August 2014
at 15:27:43

It just goes to show how unimportant the league table that early on. Us down in 19th, Bournemouth in 11th. I bet Millwall fans look at that table and wonder what the hell happened to their season!

Playing a Mick McCarthy Team is the Last Thing We Need Right Now - Notes for Wolves
at 18:10:22

Considering the really are a big club who many might expect their fans to be delusional and entitled to success, their attitude compared to Bournemouth fans is far more favourable. Seem to have a similar kind of attitude to us lot - appreciating what's been done this season, but many expecting it all to end in tears, with small degree of undeserved entitlement - all in all, not what I was expecting from Wolves fans. Still, I hope we beat them of course!

What Do We Want To Be, Ipswich Or AFCB? - Notes for Bournemouth
at 14:57:53

It's a pity really. From the neutrals point of view, Bournemouth are the good news story, a heartwarming tale of a club that could've gone under and received a lot of support and goodwill from fans of all clubs at the time. This should be an example of how fairytales can still happen in the game, but if this is the level of arrogance it produces from fans then I think I'd happily see the next troubled club rot and die. After all, that's what football could've done to them a few years ago...

Blues and Canaries in Pre-Season Friendly Talks
at 12:37:42

Great, an opportunity to be humiliated before we even get going. Ninety minutes of getting hammered whilst their fans remind us that they're PL and we're not, gloating about 9-2 and all the rest. At least if we're not playing them we can ignore them.

I'd rather wait until we're on level terms again.

Sod off back to Wet Spam then. A good reason why so many are against all these loans coming in. As soon as MM gets the opportunity I'm sure he's going to clear out players like this. We want players committed to us. Apart from anything else he's really not that great.
