Hopefully We Can Spring a Surprise Or Two - Notes for Cambridge United
at 15:07:51

@ringwoodblue I wouldn't count out Gillingham turning over Sunderland tomorrow afternoon. Lots of players were on int. duty, not trained much. Pritchard & Broadhead might not be fit. Gills always make it a tough game, especially as they look to stay up.

Wimbledon new manager bounce will hopefully come into effect against Wednesday, that would be nice. Wycombe a home banker sadly. Hopefully Pompey's 8 games in 25 days will be too much for them

Hopefully We Can Spring a Surprise Or Two - Notes for Cambridge United
at 15:01:58

@SuperBlue69 imagine being the one scrolling through ‘Ipswich' in the opposition teams' search bars 😂 the majority of the time it is negative because the quotes for each return fixture are either Cook's or McGreal's games, so it was either a loss, poor draw or undeserved win, bar Pompey and Wycombe.

The issue I've had sometimes is that teams like to talk about us when we lose, but are quiet when we win. You'll get 3 or 4 posts about McKenna in 14 weeks, but 40-50 about Cook because he failed 😨

We Want Promotion This Season - Notes for Wigan Athletic
at 16:32:24

@itfcserbia I think the majority of comments were swaying, 70/30, against Paul Cook. Some were surprised he went due to his past success, but the majority claimed that he was fortunate to get a longer stint when it wasn't going well. Times where it went wrong but he found a way to make it work. Lots of mentions about Kieffer Moore being isolated up front, and then something changed that got him more involved. Similar to the Burns/Bonne type relationship

Just wanted to drop in and say thank you to everyone that has left such overwhelmingly positive responses to this first piece. I have BIG shoes to fill, and I hope I can do so across the season. COYB!

Where to Exploit and How to Avoid Being Exploited - Barnsley
at 23:16:59

Absolutely right dusth, i guess that because McGoldrick has missed a few friendlies he might not have started today, but he played very well today, probably our best striker this afternoon.

Oh Ipswich, Where Do We Go From Here?
at 00:15:33

completely agree with what you are saying pilgrimblue, we have to many players that are seemingly scared of receiving the ball at their feet and running with it. i feel that the signing of Webster is a step in the right direction in terms of nice looking football, as he is willing to retrieve the ball and look for a pass rather than smack it up the field for Murphy. The only others i can think of he look to play the pass rather than punt it is Skuse and Bishop, but it is not enough. MM needs to bring in a few players who know how to pass, whilst also bringing in a few who know how to run with the ball. I hope Grant Ward is someone who likes having the ball at his feet, cause if not, then its more money gone down the drain
