 | News Comment | Town and Birmingham Charged By FA at 14:19:31
How have the FA charged ITFC when it was Birmingham players that surrounded Chaplin? Surely their focus should be on player safety and the bigger issue was Birmingham City's inability, yet again, to stop their fans invading the pitch and attacking opposition players? |

Have to say I'm pretty gutted about this. I feel he still has a part to play for Town and was one of the few players towards the end of last season that looked like he could compete at the top level. We will really miss his creativity and I know £10m is a decent figure, but I still feel he was worth more to us than that, especially if we get hit by many more injuries. Sad day. |
 | News Comment | Muric Dismissed From Kosovo Squad at 07:49:12
Some really strange comments on here. Look, you don’t dismiss (not suspend) a number of players for misconduct without there being some fairly serious circumstances. I know we all want this to end in a fairy tale but sometimes you also need to wake up and smell the coffee. Burnley fans seemed way too happy we’d sold him, he has not made the start we wanted, and now he gets thrown out of his national squad for misconduct. In McKenna we trust and he will know what to do. |
 | News Comment | Lambert on Salary Cap: Players Will Be in a For a Rude Awakening at 10:27:26
@timkatieadamitfc I've never heard so much horses**t in my entire life. Lawsuits because these players are having to get less than £125k?!! Have you opened your eyes in the past 12 months?!! We are in the middle of a pandemic mate. You know what that means don't you? Let me help you, it's the kind of movie that Hollywood used to make where loads of people die from a horrible virus. I've lost a friend and a family member to Covid-19 and it makes me sick when I hear utter nonsense from the odd person like you moaning about the poor footballers. Tell you what, let's carry on paying the players way more than the business can afford and see what happens to our club in a year or two (or we are lucky) time. Then you'd really have something to moan about! |
 | News Comment | Woody Working Doubly Hard to Get Fit at 23:33:01
to all you disallusioned town fans. Since when does tonsililitis make you unable to play a forward pass? I took my whole extended family to the Preston game. He was hopeless. Didn't have a clue, no creativity and well out of his depth. He got the ball turned round and passed it back, virtually every time. Both Wordsworth and Noble wouldn't get into the Cambridge Utd team right now so god knows why they are getting the game in the championship. Someone said no one played well in that game. I disagree, when Taylor and Mcgoldrick came on we saw some quality and I thought both played well. |

Nice to see we've got to the stage of calling each other tw*ts now UsualSuspect. Nothing like a bit of in-fighting to bring the club closer to it knees. When will people like you realise that we ALL care about the club and we are ALL entitled to our opinions. We come on this website to provide our view good and bad. Whilst I don't like negativity I do respect others opinions. Let's try and remember we all support the same side and we all want the same things. To get promoted and to see Norwich get relegated! |

Not slating the guy. Just doing some research. I was at the Peterborough game and felt the pain. I just want to ensure that we are brining in quality rather than just more bodies. Sonko's track record at Stoke, then Hull, then Portsmouth (basically his last three clubs) was not very good. If you don;t believe me, do your own research and look at what their fans say about him. None of them were complaining about him leaving. Whilst I desperatly want Sonko to be the answer to our defensive issues the evidence would suggest he's no better than Delaney or Smith (my god! I never thought I'd ever say that!!!) :-( |

He hardly ever played for Stoke. Look at his record at Hull.... in the team that went down. Also, he didn't seem to be able to get into Pompey's side last year, which speaks volumes! |
 | News Comment | Town Linked With Dundee United Youngster at 10:32:22
This would be an interesting signing. Good to see Jewell is still looking to bring some youngsters through and hopefully he could offer some cover for our senior midfielders as I think we are still a bit thin on the ground in this area. |
 | News Comment | Town and Blackpool After Blades Defender at 12:17:49
I don't know the lad, but I've just seen this posted on the blades supporters site. "f**kit! A couple of teams are after Lowton, he's the last one we want to be let go! " They seem to rate him. Could be a steal for PJ. Anyone else got a view? |
 | News Comment | Norris Could Leave Town at 07:57:57
I disagree totally with these comments for a number of reasons. I can remember a number of games where Norris stood out above the rest for his work rate and never say die attitude. How many goals has he scored this season from midfield? For those of you knocking chuck I'd suggest you think for a while about where we might be in the table now without his goals? He certainly contributed massively to our only success this season with his cup goals. Finally, I just don't get the business sense here. He cost us £2.2m two years ago and we are going to let him go for free. How the heck does that work? Either he's asking for 50k+ a game or we are scoring another momentus own goal. The club clearly rate him as he's our captain and plays every week so how have we got to six weeks before the end of the season and we haven't sold him or got him to sign a new contract. I've run a number of businesses in my time and this is just sloppy management. In any other role in football the person responsible would get the boot. |
