Anyone see any of this after the game?
at 11:22 2 Apr 2024

I sat underneath them in Block S and they made good noise throughout (until 2-2 onwards!). A few idiots chucked pints down at us though, landing on families and senior fans. Poor from them.

Berlin sports pub for derby day
at 08:40 8 Mar 2024

Guten tag.

I’m going to be in Berlin on derby day and wanted to see if anybody here has any good tips for watching UK games in the city, so I can (hopefully) enjoy the Norwich game.

Cheers/Prost

I’m in Sherwood. In the words of Mark Ashton, the rain here is relentless.

Bolton pubs

Afternoon, am heading up to Bolton on Saturday and wanted to ask for past visitors' tips as to where to eat and drink prior to the game.

Having checked on Google, the choices aren't really jumping out! Cheers

Pym fell out with Fergie and left on loan. Benda came in on loan and broke his finger, so Dai was busy where he might have been a backup!

Here we go then...

A good backroom team could make KMc an interesting pick. Hopefully his remit for the remainder of the season is communicated clearly from the top to set expectations to fans. The guy needs a chance in his first gig!

Golden Eagle by the ground or The Ritz (Spoons) closet to town.

Yeah, the Spoons is called The Ritz and is meant to be good for away fans. There's a Castle Rock Brewery pub near the ground called the Golden Eagle that's supposedly good for mixing too. COYB

Ipswich Town's mission statement
at 13:35 10 Feb 2021

Afternoon all.

I've had a look around the Marcus Evans Group website to see where we fit in to their mission statement. Spoiler - we don't.

Hope the video is informative/something to do whilst we wait for a change of manager. Any feedback welcome.

Cheers. COYB.

What is the game plan?

Ctrl c + Ctrl v

Feel sorry for Dozzell trying to create in this team. Full backs are well off the pace and we are toothless going forward. No idea what we’re trying to do.

Anyone else starting to fall out of love with football?
at 13:36 5 Nov 2020

I did in the latter stages of the Keane years and during Jewell's reign - we were a team of washed-up has-beens with no clear identity. Probably didn't help I was going through sixth form and college at the time with other things to worry about.

Mick got me back in love with it because he brought the fan base together with the relegation escape and that amazing 14/15 season. The football wasn't always great but it felt to be a part of us.

It's all rather died on its arse since 16/17 but League 1 has offered something of a frustrating refresh to many years of the Championship - I'm 27, so that's pretty much all I've known! Still, I'd rather us get the hell out of this league.

I’m a big fan of Lagavulin 16yr Islay - one for the very end of the night!

For something a little lighter, Caol Ila 12yr is a nice drop too.

Riga is great. Would also recommend Budapest for its Ruin Bars.
You’ll run out of things to do quickly in Wroclaw - I went in November for the Xmas markets and couldn’t imagine it being exciting without them!

Pop up to Leith and go to Oregano for pizza. Book ahead though; it’s one of the best settings and meals I have had.

Dishoom does an ace curry. Get the black lentil Dahl.

There’s a few nice pubs on Rose St too.

Enjoy!
