McKenna: Three Or Four Have Stayed Behind
at 11:15:37

We are fortunate enough to have a big squad to cope with injuries, unfortunate as they are it will give someone an opportunity to step up and try to stake their claim within the team.

Lambert: The Way We're Playing is the Most Pleasing Aspect
at 18:48:26

Really glad we started the season with a win, some of our passing was outstanding, midfielders making forward runs and our defense keeping opposing players at bay. There were times when Toto would dwell on the ball and make constant back passes and lump ball out of play, but i'll give credit when its due as he did make some vital headed clearances. Overall I do feel we need one or two more bodies to come in to give us more strength, preferably a midfielder that is a set piece specialist and another striker - if Jackson should depart.
Happy to finally end our live Sky TV drought, glad with a great start so lets push on and put a few wins together.

Edwards: I'll Be Devastated If We Don't Go Back Up
at 17:15:32

Devastated you are right, I would say massive underachievement would be the correct term used. Many people labelled us as strong favourites to go straight back up, but boy have we been knocked down a peg or two. The season has shown favourites mean nothing, we play in a league where most of these teams have played in for quite a few seasons and know how to win games, especially off the big teams. Would I love it if we won our remaining 8 games?, you bet I would but realistically we know that it'll be hard but we have one of the best teams in the league and should know how to get the job done.

Lambert: Dobra's Time Will Come Soon But Perhaps Not Until Next Season
at 17:03:01

Well clearly evidence shows he has huge potential and to score a goal like that, one wonders why another opportunity in the 1st team this season can't happen?

Lambert: We Could Struggle to Keep Downes in the Summer
at 16:57:03

Would be a huge blow to lose Flynn, yes I guess you have to look at it from a financial point of view but there is absolutely no reason why we cannot keep him. He hasn't expressed a desire to leave, there aren't many clubs waiting in line to throw money at us, well not to my knowledge and we could possibly build a team around him.

EFL Confirm Fixtures Postponed Until 3rd April
at 16:48:17

I fully back the decision to postpone the league until 4th April, quite frankly I expected this and the right thing to do. Hopefully we have a couple of our injured lads back ready to play for whatever points we may get before the season close. I do see a couple of games where ideally we should win, but as shown this season that we must not be complacent and disrespect the opposition. Need to adopt a winning formation preferably one that is attacking so either a 4-4-2 or a 4-5-1 will be more efficient than what are experimenting with now.

Would be happy with this potential signing. Safe to assume that we won't be the only club interested in his services.

Ipswich Town 1-1 Nottingham Forest - Match Report
at 18:38:33

Thoroughly impressed with our performance today, we played some really great football and every town player put in 100%. Glad to see Colin get his first Ipswich goal, hope to see plenty more before the season ends. Bree, Pennington and Chambo were excellent at the back, Chalobah it thought was outstanding and thought his attempt at goal found the net which didn't but happy of how he played. Nolan, Edwards and Jackson showed signs of things to come. I thought Mr Stroud was absolutely atrocious today, he took way to long to blow the whistle for judge's freekick which resulted in a goal, and that the re-take wasn't exciting. Overall the officials officiating sums up our season in terms of not getting the luck from them. Its safe to assume that our impending relegation to League One isn't based on poor performances but poor referring decisions.

We will continue to fight to the end, play our hearts out and come back even stronger.

Skuse: I Want to Stay and I Hope Chambo Does Too
at 16:41:41

Skuse has always shown passion, desire and hunger since he's been here. He is incredibly loyal and only played for two professional clubs, us and Bristol City. All the credentials to help tutor our younger players. We should offer him a coaching role within the club or academy once his career comes to an end. Chambo is another player I would like to stay, he's passionate and always gives his all for the team. Been a tremendous servant to our club and racked up 297 appearances for us beating Fabian Wilnis record. I think if we can build a successful winning team around these two players then the future is looking bright.

Lambert Praise for Nsiala and Dawkins, Spence Has to Keep Battling for Return
at 16:04:01

For me personally I think Toto needs to improve more which in time will happen. Was a very good player for Shrewsbury so I can see why Paul Hurst signed him, unfortunately hasn't quite worked out the way we all hoped. Nolan in recent weeks has shown promise of a good player and happy for him to score his first headed career goal which got us the point at West Brom but clearly deserved all 3. Can't really give an opinion on Simon as he hasn't played much football but watching him from his days at Derby and in the MLS, I think he'll be a good addition to keep hold of as he may find his feet again next season.

And as for Spence, well I think he has run his course here as Josh will most likely occupy that position next season should Paul not decide to get someone else in. He's clearly not been the same since Mick left which is a shame but then again some players play better under certain managers.

Cotter, Ndaba and Drinan in Irish U21s Squad
at 15:53:37

Congratulations to the lads, hard work is paying off. I wouldn't mind Cotter been given a game at Right Back before the season ends, thought he was outstanding against Barnsley on the 10 April 2018. Also to mention Corrie, I feel he has huge potential to work his way into the team. Although a initially a midfielder, been converted into a Centre Back means he is a little versatile so would give us another option.

El Mizouni Targeting Further First-Team Action

Thought he looked sharp when we came on via the bench against Bristol City. Showed quickness, attacking intent and not afraid to take on his man. This lad has a great future ahead of him.
