U18s Reach Youth Cup Semi-Finals After Rip-Roaring Victory Over 10-Man Blades
Great game. I would like to make a shout out to a few players (having only seen the second half):
Cameron Stewart - some brilliant tackles and slide tackles
Elkan Baggott - great goal and a couple of great runs too
Albie Armin - despite a few errors, brilliant going forwards and excellent dribbling
Liam Gibbs - this guy has to get a new contract immediately
Cameron Humphreys - great set pieces and crosses
Would like to see some of these with the first team in pre season.

I really hope the semis are free to watch too because that was an enthralling match. The whole team should be proud.
Hope to see some of this lot amongst the first team in pre-season!
Player of the Year Voting Open
There always has to be a player of the year. Even if it was a disappointing season, there was still a player slightly less bad than the others.
I will wait until the season ends before voting, but I think it has to be Luke Chambers or Toto Nsiala, with James Wilson in third.

I think it will probably be the same team as the one that played against Charlton (except with Jackson replacing Norwood), although I would prefer Nsiala instead of McGuinness and Dobra instead of Bennetts, unless we are looking to bring these loans back again next year.
Judge: Not the Way I Wanted to End My Time at Town
Thank you Alan Judge, for a good spell at Ipswich Town. I wouldn't say he was our best player this season, but since the start of 2021 he has probably been our best attacking player. I wish him good luck for the future.
Lambert: I Left the Club in a More Than Decent Place
Sorry Paul, but I totally disagree. Maybe we have got worse since Paul Cook joined, but that is down to the mentality of the players, and as Lambert was in charge for two years, I think that is down to him. He hasn't left us in a much worse place than when he joined (and for that reason he is far better than Paul Hurst), but he still didn't really leave Ipswich in a decent place.

Town Visit Rochdale Aiming to Build on Good Friday Win
I would go with:
Holy; Edwards, Woolfenden, Nsiala, Chambers, Ward; Skuse, Bishop, Judge; Parrott, Drinan
Subs: Cornell, McGuinness, Dozzell, Bennetts, Dobra, Jackson, Sears
Chambers: Absolutely I Want to Stay, My Ambition For the Club is Unchanged
I think Luke Chambers should be given a new contract, but as a backup CB and RB. We have a horrible injury record at the club, but Chambers is the one player who never gets injured, despite being 35. Maybe he isn't quite as good as a footballer as James Wilson, Toto Nsiala or Kane Vincent-Young, but he is far more reliable than them, and he is an excellent captain. He probably won't be good enough next year to be in the starting 11 every week, but he will still have a part to play.
