| News Comment | McKenna: No Surprise Forest Are Having a Good Season at 04:12:57
What a decade McKenna has had - from studying at Loughborough, coaching U-9s at Forest, coaching a local non-league team...to coaching in the Premier League. Dreams do come true (with ability and hard work)! |
| News Comment | Former Boss Keane Rows With Fans at 08:24:08
Keane classy as ever. What a total loser - is he a teenager? No adult should ask to meet another out at a carpark to fight. |
| News Comment | Former Blues Left-Back Penney Joins Dale at 04:26:43
Football is harsh. Good to see he's back. I don't know the reason he didn't sign anywhere last season, but if it's injuries or personal issues I hope they're behind him now and he's able to work his way back up. Good luck to him. |
| News Comment | Muric's Kosovo Walk Off and Match Abandoned Following Pro-Serbia Chants From Romania Fans at 04:20:42
Too much politics in the comments. But to be honest, Kosovo needed to win and weren't winning as time was expiring. So by walking off I believe they are trying to avoid the result (and one more thing to note, it doesn't look like objects were really thrown until Kosovo started to walk off). They were given an opportunity to return to the pitch when things settled down and refused to do so. They should not be rewarded. The result shouldn't be a 3-0 forfeit to Romania but should be the final score of a draw. |
| News Comment | Burgess Wins Cap But Australia Held at 15:10:51
Watched the match. Cam played well. Steady and passionate. Got in the face of a Saudi player after the guy hurt an Australian with a dangerous tackle. The best part, Cam gave him the b*llocking about five minutes after the tackle. |
| News Comment | Burgess in Australia Squad at 03:15:39
Good luck, Cam. Australia is in a down period, I never thought they would be regularly calling up guys in L1 (but see Bacchus from mansfield town didn't make the cut this squad) and they would be struggling for a creative spark. The days of Cahill, Kewell and Viduka are long gone. |
| News Comment | Slicker in Full Scotland Squad at 10:46:22
More than a little surprising, but maybe not when the others in the squad are a 41 year old and a career backup keeper. The door is open. Now let's do right by Ciaran and get him a nice loan spell in January. |
| News Comment | Shrews Sack Former Town Boss Hurst at 09:30:12
He got rid of established Championship players and overpaid for a boatload of L1 players (which, let me remind you, a lot of fans applauded) and we ended up in L1, fancy that. |
| News Comment | Former Blue Mitchell Leaves Wycombe at 09:27:09
There's clearly more to this story. Hopefully just a personality clash or different views on direction as opposed to something more sorted. |
| News Comment | Blues and Foxes Fans to Join National Protest at 06:45:47
So...we demand a competitive team which means paying eight figure transfer fees and weekly wages to one player that is more than the national yearly average salary, we also want a top of the line venue and state of the art training facilities, but we don't think the costs should in any way be passed on to the consumer/supporters. Right, um ok, that doesn't make financial sense at all. We can easily cut costs and keep ticket prices low. But we'd have to be happy in L1 or L2. Is the trade off worth it? |
| News Comment | Keeper Williamson On as Outfield Sub For Chelmsford at 09:27:01
@slade1 It took me a few times to read it, but I think what the story means is that the team didn't have enough outfield players on the bench (eg less than 5 players) and thus had to bring Woody on as a field player. |
| News Comment | Dyche: You Can’t Take These Teams For Granted at 11:08:39
I think the quote is taken out of context, but whatever... I didn't realise Everton had so many players injured. Good time to play them - and get our first win! |
| News Comment | Harness and Edmundson on Target For Loan Clubs at 12:27:32
Broadhead can't make the bench now...Harness would be behind him. Better to let the lad go and play. It's interesting that Wolfy hasn't been seen since the second match of the season. He's clearly behind O'Shea in the pecking order, for better or worse. |
| News Comment | Luongo Out of Australia Squad at 12:23:06
Axel and Mass were injured after being called up, not sure about Ali. Mass was pictured his leg in a boot on Saturday. |
| News Comment | West Ham United 4-1 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 17:20:03
We were poor. Johnson very poor in every respect...and so frustrating that he repeatedly played them onside. Burns just isn't of Premier League quality. Omari and Clarke disappeared for large stretches. But the defending, oh the defending. They're not gelling and just look lost at times. Muric can make some silly passes, but it's nice to have a safe pair of hands that catches everything in the box...and he makes the saves he should make and some fine saves. These attributes should not be discounted. Ending on a positive, Delap is a beast with such a bright future. |
