Man U have a years option on him meaning if he plays well they activate and we pay a fee then knowing his current qualities. Seems pragmatic. Also it runs down the Man U contract length. Yes we could negotiate an option now, but it's likely both parties were too unsure of his likely form. He is cover for an excellent player and he brings potential... let's see if he works hard and realises it. |

I had hoped Paul Hurst would turn into a good manager, but the changes he made were foolishly rushed and much too big in scale.
I don't care about Lambert's Norwich connection - that is history, what matters is the future of our club. Not sure that anyone can save us with the poor quality of our squad. We need a striker who knows where the goal is - that is for sure. |

Glad Walters got the game time. He was at fault for one of the Welsh goals. Playing two games so close together probably knackered him. Wales were really good. Ireland were just awful. Glad we ditched our Ireland b team recruitment policy of a few years ago. |

Bristol Rovers fan reaction is interesting ... they are reported as "gutted" because not only is he one of the best, but he is also one of the most vocal. A lot also say that 2 years ago they didn't want to extend his contract, but he won hem round with his performances. I think that means he is capable of learning and we too should give him time. He is young and apparently has also done his fair share of stuff like visiting fans in hospital etc so it sounds like we are getting a level headed & involved player. |

They guy looks like he can head, has a shot on him and has pace to burn... of course in a lower league he has more space so we will have to wait and see.
