McCarthy Has Sympathy With Town Players Facing Relegation Pay Cut
at 13:47:16

MM still does'nt get it,we are jumping up and down and singing because we are being entertained for the first time in ten years. We have got our club back and we are wearing the badge again. The crowd at West Brom yesterday was excellent, sympathy with Darren Moore that we got him the sack. I say to MM get on with your job and leave the jibes alone, very unprofessional. Having supported town since 1967 I am already looking forward to next season and hopefully a team which we can call our own. coyb.

Blackburn Rovers 2-0 Ipswich Town - Match Report
at 21:24:31

I have been of the opinion for some time that most subscribers on here are not regular supporters. I go home and away and am in awe of the support the current contingent give the team. Yes I know we are in difficult times, but true fans will continue to support the team irrespective of the league we are in. Recently I requested someone print the words of the song “ I follow “, got no response, why, because none of you go to games and sing the song. To blame Chambers for one mistake on Sky highlights prove my point as there were another 89 minutes in the game which you saw nothing of. I am all for free speech, but opinions can only be based upon what you personally have witnessed. Yes, Hurst messed up but the damage had been done gradually over the past 10 years by a number of incumbents. I do wish we had kept Jim, at least the football was good. I have been a supporter since 1967, and remember Bobby Robson having a bumpy ride in his early days. Thank god this website was not around then or some of you would have crucified him. That's got that off my chest. coyb.

Great news, top signing to date. Can't wait to get on coach for Blackburn and soak up the atmosphere, worth getting up at 4am. Credit to ME for backing the manager. No more negatives on here please,, we are in a new and exciting era. Could someone post words of song which voices past achievements to the tune used by a number of other clubs, tonight if possible.coyb.

Walters: Take Me Home Country Roads!
at 12:45:55

Was my favourite player until Keane messed up. Don't worry about age, Murgh is a year older and still banging them in for Forest. He can be invaluable to this inexperienced squad. Score the winner on Sunday and you will be a legend. If you sign, welcome back Jon.

Good luck with your campaign, much needed. I have felt for some time the club could do more. For instance turn up the volume with music leading to ko and ht. The announcer to be more vocal I.e applauding goal scorers . Many of the grounds we visit do it much better than us, Sheff Utd is an example.

Boro New Favourites for Waghorn
at 15:36:17

Tractor Boy Tommy- Absolutely a pathetic post. Calling the manager a " clown" before the season has started, complaining about players from lower divisions, finally for a fan to already predict relegation . An absolute disgrace, come on, yes it will be tough but get behind the manager and players ,and be optimistic. I can't wait to see good football being played again.coyb

Derby in "Advanced Talks" for Waghorn
at 11:45:47

@BraveDave congratulations a brilliant post.I am getting really p----d off with the negativity before even a league game has been played. During the past two years of dross posts on here, quite rightly, were calling for a young manager with modern style, giving youngsters a chance, and searching lower leagues for bargains. We've found such a person and still some are moaning.what's wrong with unknown players? Vary and Deli Ali came from lower leagues and were in Russia.
I have been a supporter for 50 years and still do all home games and most away. We have done ok from lower leagues; Jonathan Walters; David Johnson; Paul Mariner; Marcus Stewart; and even non league Clive Woods; Mick Stockwell; Simon Milton ; there must be others.
I think last season we should have kept Josh he was better than Iorfa. Yes, we need strengthening at the back, Matt Clarke back from Pompey, and up front McNulty from Coventry.
Waggy, I like him, BUT, if a player wants to go then what's the point rejecting good offers, we saw that with McGoldrick, a disappointed and sulky player.
Come on guys be positive like me and give the manager a chance, it may take two steps back,to go one forward. coyb.

Updated: Webster Set for Bristol City as Clubs Agree Fee
at 22:16:37

Oh dear, the negatives are at it again, for goodness sake give the new team a chance. I am disappointed , but I believe it is a good deal. To say MM made a good deal on Webster c'mon , he has spent more time off the field than on and Matty Clarke has gone to be valued higher, proving MM should never have sold him in the first place. In Paul Hurst I trust.

Paul Hurst’s Time at Shrewsbury — A History in Seven Matches
at 12:58:52

Harry, a wonderful piece of journalism, thank you. I can't wait for the start of the season as it looks likewe will be seeing the style of play we wished for, and will be appreciated by the fans. I do hope fans will be patient, the style, format and everything he demands will not happen overnight.
Like others on here I am concerned if he is successful in the next two years he will be head hunted, but that's football. I am looking forward immensely to the next two years and as Hursty says " Let's enjoy the journey together" Coyb
