I think hes the best youngster I have seen at the club for a while. I watch lots if youth matches and have been impressed for a long time and think the club needs to keep our best talent

Update on Liam Gibbs I have been informed is that Ipswich still haven't agreed a new deal with him and that Brighton, Leeds, Norwich and Man United are in line to get an absolute bargin as they would only have to pay compensation which will be less than he is worth.

Would be great if you could get an answer from the club regarding Gibbs as it looks like lots of people interested whether the club can get him to agree a contract.

I really hope so. Everyone I talk to at the club absolutely believe this lad is the best to come through the academy for a long time. I was also told that Liverpool were really impressed with Gibbs when he played against them in the FA youth cup semifinal. Come on Town get this lads contract sorted!

Hes definitely a player we should be fighting to keep. What club had you been told is the front runner. Hope Mr Ashton is speaking with him and his agents

I have been informed that Aston Villa, Brighton, Norwich and Rangers are interested in Gibbs. I fear we could lose this very talented youngster as I believe his contract expires at the end of the month.
