Asked a couple of leeds season tickets holders and their responses surprised me a bit in that they think he's a good centre midfielder and cant understand how he's not in their team most weeks. I am not in a position to judge since i've never seen he play but suggest that many who are saying "no dont get him" are in the same position.
I have seen Garvin play many many times and certainly wouldn't want him back here. People say his lazy style was like Hoddle but no.. he was just lazy. Always best never to come back ... bit like girlfriends ! |

I like Mick, but have lost a little faith in him due to his refusal to say one openly if he would be interested. HIs reluctance to do so was just playing with words whilst keeping all options open. I think i would have more respect if he had simply said "yes if offered I would consider it but that doenst mean necessarily mean I would take it". We can't forget he got us out of a mess last year but uncertainlty is disrupting. The sooner this is put to bed one way or the other the better |

I wonder how many people on here actually had any dealings with Clegg or had inside information about what he did or didn't do. I know one thing for sure:
When I had a problem with the conduct/assistance of a couple of stewards I sent an e-mail to Simon Clegg to voice my disappointment. Within 30 mins of me sending the email he personally phoned me at home and requested further information and promised to look into the many and give me a full report. Within 14 days I had that full report along with his apologies and asusrances that their conduct was in no way in line with ITFC policy towards its customers. and that it would not be accptable at any time in the future
Now i'm not saying that makes all his decisions right but a measure of a man is how he responds to critism about himself or the club he represents. In my case I have nothing but respect for him. |

In some respects its a pity but we have got some younger and talented (according to MM) replacements. Hardly any of us have yet seen McLean, McGoldrick or Nouble perform in a Ipswich shirt. A few goals from these guys and DJ will be a distant memory. Yes, DJ j gave us a real boost both morale and position wise and thanks to him for that, but long term future wise I think what we have maybe better. Really hoping that we can get in a midfield playmaker to feed these guys. |

I wish him well and hope he finds a club quickly beecause i dont think he has a future at Ipswich. If you had seen him against Felixtowe and Walton last week then you would have seen him get torn apart by a amateur local player.
