Town Confirm School of the Day to Continue
at 21:53:54

This is an excellent idea but the club needs to allocate schools tickets for every home match which involve all schools throughout the course of a season. This is how you build up a fan base for the future.

at 17:26:41

Dolphinblue Keep calm on the transfer front the window has a long way to go but personally i would prefer to see our own young players given a decent chance. Pleased to see Nydam in the left back slot. Would like to him given a go there.

Jewell: We Need to Learn to Grind Out Draws
at 13:39:08

We created our three best chances on Saturday when we had two up front with J.E.T. out wide. Chopra needs support. Shame Daryl couldn't convert though. Would like to see J.E.T. play behind Scotland and Chopra in what we used to call the Eric Gates role, with a 3 man midfield behind them. Bullard Andrews and ? bowyer or leadbetter. Would be worth a go as i think it plays to the strengths of the front three.

Clegg: No Regrets On Duo\'s Contracts
at 16:52:41

He did not want to criticize Roy Keane publicly. Roy beleived in players earning their contract right to the end. We are not Man utd though, that policy is ok if there are few better places to go, unfortunately we are not in that luxurious position. It just seems very poor business not to tie up your assets. We have lost our three best players this season when you include Walters also

Norris After Three-Year Deal With Town
at 13:38:00

Some players need to be left hanging to get them to perform for a new contract. Norris, mc cauley and delaney are not such players they give of their best anyway they are true 100% ers.Surely you get your best players, even the ones who can command a fee on board because they are assets on the pitch.I really do not understand the position of the club on this one. Please Simon get all three signed up, like this afternoon.

Austin Agrees Burnley Deal - Reports
at 18:58:13

Why blame Clegg, Marcus Evens sets the budget. Burnley have a thing called a premiership parachute payment, they didnt throw money at staying in that league, they planned for the possibility of relegation so not to get into debt or suffer bankruptcy. This puts them at an advantage for both fees and personel terms. Burnley also look a better bet for promotion at this moment in time, presuming that Charlie Austin is ambitious. How far do you meet players wage demands ? ( or moan about their high wages ) The object of premiership football is well nigh impossible with the current wage structure unless you have a manager capable of picking up lower league gems cheaply ( like buying Austin 2 years ago ) or skilled at maximising average players to perform as an effective team ie Alf Ramsey or Paul Lambert. Hoping that Paul Jewell can do this is the best hope unless Marcus increases the budget particularly with regard to wages.

Jewell: Too Good an Opportunity to Turn Down
at 18:13:03

Its worth noting that the two jobs where he ''failed'', he was in situ less than 13 months, his success stories were at clubs where he spent a number of years where there was not much progress to begin with, probably at unfashionable clubs where expectation was less which allowed him the breathing space to get promotion. Lets just support the bloke and get behind the team.

Jewell: Too Good an Opportunity to Turn Down
at 18:00:27

Welcome Paul we wish you every success. I disagree that he has such a big job to do. I think the squad already has good players but they have lacked direction and a pattern of play with no plan B. Get full backs overlapping, get a good creative central midfielder to get service and support for the front two. Who have enough goals in them given a little more confidence. Score lines in the league have been very close in the vast majority of matches. The line between success and failure is very slim in this league. C.O.Y.B s
