Was once at a St. George's Night dinner overseas where he was a guest of honour and introdced himself as "Liverpool, Everton and England".
Happily he was very embarrassed when he found out there were three Ipswich fans in the audience - probably more than both Liverpool and Everton - and stood us a round of drinks. |
