The only lure of those clubs for a player is money. Unfortunately with Brighton and Palace you have the danger of being back in the Championship within a couple of seasons. Bournemouth gate is 12k! If i was getting 40k a week id rather get it in front of 35k+ crowd. |

SBR only signed 14 players in his 13 years here. So if Hurst has to look at our youth, which he has already stated he'll do thats great by me.
He's never going to sign players with a tournament going on anyway. Plus its holiday season. We'll have a couple in by the end of August im sure. |

I still think part of the reason he has turned down Championship clubs inc us is because its a step to far. If you thought that maybe you would be better off stepping up only as far at League 1 atm and Sunderland came in with new money etc, you couldnt ask for a better league 1 club to manage. |

I was there today and we controlled the play in the first half and played like we wanted it. Which unfortunately makes it all the more worrying that we never really made clear cut chances and didnt score. Up to the 18 yard box though some of the football was quality and we kept it on the floor.
For me the player who i think who may just havr an outstanding season if he continues to improve at the rate he has over the last 6 months is Jordan Spence... |
