We knew this was likely to be our first defeat tonight

So let’s not go mad on one defeat!
Remember, this is very much a second XI as well, and no striker on the pitch!
Like no one thought a few wins against the strugglers of the league meant we were league champions, a defeat against one of the divisions top sides won’t mean we are getting relegated!
Please, be calm.
Any news on Ward?

Did we ever find out how bad his injury is?
EADT twittering about whether Kenlock is good enough to cover whilst he is out for a few weeks, but I thought he was due back this weekend?
Wasn't he only doubtful for last weekend, so assumed 7 days later he'd be fine.
No naughty digs at our amazing medic team please x

This is what I'd like to see , assuming Ward is back -
Chambers Nsiala Woolfenden Ward
Bishop Dozzell Nolan
Bennetts Hawkins Edwards
But I imagine Ward will still be out, he'll stick with Wilson and Bennetts will only be on bench.
Some wil want Jackson to start, I don't. Hawkins offers a lot more.

to the last 16 in the Southern Section.
Wouldn't be a bad return for fans into stadiums.... a trip to Wembley!!

But I want us to win this and progress in the tournament.
Everyone loves a cup run, whatever the tournament!
Yeah yeah I know.... result doesn’t matter, blah blah
Tomorrow's line up

This could be a tough one to call!
Assume the two new signings will get some much needed game time and obviously Cornell in goal, but other than those three, pretty tough to predict.
I'll go -
Donacien Woolfie McGuiness Kenlock
Huws McGavin Dobra
Lankester Folami Bennetts

So it will be Nsialla and Wilson again tomorrow, fair enough they've done well. They are old fashioned centre halves, get in the way and get rid, but thats it really.
Up against the so called bigger boys of this league, with slightly more technical/pacey strikers, they may find it tougher, so what does PL do?
Dropping either is harsh, or will he wait until they've made a few clangers (which is surely just around the corner), cost us a few goals and a few points and then they are out?
Woolfy seems to have it all as a modern day CB and McGuinness looks like he could be similar, so should both start?
Yes they are young, but with experience at full back either side, does that matter?
Maybe the ideal is one of each, I am guessing Woolfy/Nsialla.
And finally where does this leave Chambo? Surely his days at CB are over and when (eventually) KVY is back he will not be required at RB anymore, so may drop out altogether.
Either way, its a nice problem to have I guess (in contrast with the other end of the pitch, where we have considerably fewer options!)
