| Blog Comment | Should Jewell Go Now? But What Then? at 09:23:28
Jewell needs to go before it us too late. Burley has resigned and could act as a suitable replacement considering he has done it before, John Wark is still around the coaching scene. But if Jewell has to go, so does the other coaching staff, although he is in charge, Hutchings has just as much influence that has set us second bottom on the Championship league table. http://www.twitter.com/xJoe_King |

| News Comment | Jewell Dismisses Sharp Bid Claims But Reveals New Scouts at Supporters Club AGM at 20:03:33
I have a question mr jewell. Cast your minds back to the end of the season last year. Notice that in all the time Martin Fulop had been present at the club he had not been stupid enough to handle the ball outside of his own area. Notice that we are currently sitting 4 points above the relegation places with the worst defensive record of the league. Yet again notice that as soon as Gareth McAuley left we incurred significant goals against and that now both of them are playing premier league football. Another point i'd like to raise it that why are we defending on the half way line when we are 2-0 up, laving acres of grass for pacey strikers to run in behind our fullbacks and score. |

@northstand78 We don't need a right back mate, if you went to the forest game edwards was one of the only players to show some ambition and he wasnt the one that caused the 3 goals to go in ! JEWELL OUT WARNOCK IN |

| News Comment | Priskin Nets From Spot But Reserves Lose to Arsenal at 16:26:17
As many of you are aware Tamas Priskin has been struggling to get into the ITFC XI. Cast your minds back to early summer last season, 35 thousand of us crammed into portman road and we all witnessed ipswich beating arsenal 1-0. Tamas was playing as a lone striker and only touched the ball once or twice throughout the whole game. He managed to singlehandedly gain possession by himself from the arsenal back 4 and also using trickery and pace, managed to out race koscienly and vermalen. After Jewell had been appointed Tamas has been in the lower ranks of the team. Inside sources tell us that his attitude of late has been not as it should be. I have witnessed many articles on TWTD and have seen people discarding tamas saying that he is not worthy of playing. Tamas has considered moving to another club. If Ipswich were to include him, it would give the team some physical presence and also hold the ball up, he also creates space for the likes of bullard to pass into and for other players to exploit. Pau; if you are reading this, please give this lad a chance. |
| News Comment | Submit Questions for Jewell and Clegg at 16:18:45
After our 4-1 defeat to milwall jewell said,"we still have a soft underbelly" as shown in the beginning of the season after stringing together a 6 game unbeaten streak, we don't. My Question to Paul would be," It is quite clear that other teams have been able to recognise our diamond formation with bullard at the the bottom and also keith andrews, lee bowyer and grant leadbitter, all that is needed is pressure put on jimmy so he cannot play the ball. Why dont you experiment with players to find advances in this already flawed tactic and getting players to expose the space ?" |
