Sometimes it’s easy to forget and there have been threads on a similar note but,
I struggle to believe at times just where we find ourselves. On the eve of playing Man City at PR, we have some of the finest young talent in the country, an unbelievable young manager who I must admit, brings tears to my eyes the way he speaks, acts and conducts himself regarding our football club, and an ownership group including Mark Ashton that has the very best intentions for the long term future. Oh and we’ve just about the biggest music artist as a fan.

Slating us for our lack of intent or attacking prowess, well we’ve now played Arsenal, United, Spurs, and Liverpool conceding only 5 goals and with a win and a draw in there too. How about some recognition of what we’re achieving with the squad that’s been built from league One.

Our speed, movement and finishing was fantastic. If that was Liverpool pundits would be raving about them. Delap nearly snatching an equaliser right at the death, so unlucky.

Our transfer business this window would have been very different wouldn’t it, who wouldn’t we have and who would we be looking at on deadline day? I’d say definitely no Hutchinson, Delap and Phillips.
