What is your voting intention on December 12?
at 23:08 1 Nov 2019

I agree.

We were due an election about now if Teresa May hadn't called the last one in 2017. But if you want to go to the country to sort brevet then go to the country through a referendum about the one issue. A GE is naturally going to be about more than one issue.

I have felt that this election is just going to return a similar parliament too. The last referendum was sold as a chance to renegotiate our position with Europe to silence UKIP. It is so divisive that it may balls up politics for years to come.

My guess is mid table. No clubs, melts or fantasy thinking. I just feel we have the wrong owner.

Edit
Mid table league 1

When we're relegated...
at 18:02 5 Feb 2019

No. I will feel, as I have done since the boo boys got rid of MM, sad and forlorn. I will then perk up and repost my thoughts and portent of doom that I voiced before a ball was kicked in the summer, and feel my smugness burn all those that decried me, including the muppet that suggested I am a Nodge fan.

New Year shopping list. What or indeed who do we need
at 17:26 29 Dec 2018

Usual rules apply, you can say a new team, manager or owner, as these are unproductive things to say. you have £5M to spend. Where do we need to add?

I'd say we need to give the manager a chance and let him flex his transfer muscles but if we don't see the arrival of a another left back, a good striker and a versatile CDM then I will be disgruntled. What do you chaps think?

MM was an awesome manager under the circumstances and will be proved such again when he takes Ireland into the Euros. We can watch from Div 2

Why buy a club just to under nourish it and watch it die. A football club is for life not just for Christmas!!.....sorry....I'll get me coat....

But the sentiment is correct ME has balked everything up since buying the club. He should have given MM a much bigger budget, but as he was doing well keeping us ticking along he saved his pennies and paid the mortgage

The blame for our current state must lay with ME
at 15:36 1 Dec 2018

I liked Magic. He just needed more time and cash.
He then brings in a man who tore the soul out of the club sold off the family jewels for a handful of beans and ballsed everything up.
Next, PJ. Oh dear lord have our defence ever looked so bad. 20th August 2011 was my 40th birthday and I spent it on trains travelling to and from a 7-1 hammering.
Then He brings in a really good and experienced guy....and starves him of cash.
Next, this farrago. I am going to say I told you so as I want to vent my spleen. I was derided in the summer for pointing out we sold our good players and replaced them with lower league ones.
Now we have a guy who has a pedigree, yes, but is simply not equipped for a relegation battle.

Soon we will have fans saying "Oh well at least next year we will bounce back". No. We won't. In my opinion we are going to make the demise of coventry look like a ticker tape parade.

Rant over

It’s Lambert - DEAL WITH IT.

Agreed. If he is ITFC manager then support him.
I'd like to see how he digs us out of this hole though. good luck to him but I can't see us surviving, sadly

This result means nothing. We were always going to lose it. The next 3 games
at 22:53 24 Oct 2018

however will define our season If we lose at millwall and fail to beat Preston at home then it should be curtains for Hurst. But it won't be.
ME has got his recruitment policy wrong. With a few more sheccles spent on proven Championship talent I believe Hurst would be ok. He has set him up to fail.

I have had the feeling of impending doom since that script reading interview
at 18:28 20 Oct 2018

with ME. He outlined a fairy story. We are going to grow our own players, make everybody work that bit harder and not invest in the team. Its bound to work!! It's a surefire recipe for success! it worked for....???....er....?
Anyone half decent and remotely interested in the managers job would have looked at that and said no thank you. I have no desire to be someone like Frank Lampard's vanity project but it spoke volumes to me when he initially took an interest then ran for the hills (the Derbyshire hills). ack Ross chose to go down a division rather than take us on.

ME needs to take a long hard look at himself and his 10 years in charge because other than a period of stable mediocrity under MM the club has stumbled since he bought it.

Getting relegated would kill the club. be under no illusions

It's way too early to get the scaffold out and hang ourselves.
at 17:45 25 Aug 2018

We are in transition IMO. We can only judge ME if we are unfortunate enough to go down. If we finish one place above the drop zone playing with guts and passion it will be a spectacle worth watching. The next season we can moan and flounce.

I worry that Paul Hurst has been promoted above his station and will need a season at this level before we see what he's made of. Rather like Magic in that respect, I always felt he should have been given another season with the cash to spend. We all saw how profligate RK was with ME's Hard earned.

I do worry about ME's 5 point plan. To me it seems too naive to expect to exist on the budget we have and push for promotion. I'd have liked to see MM given cash. To me he was a great manager doing well with a threadbare budget.

I think we've more to look forward to, than to worry about
at 21:22 6 May 2018

I disagree. MM said it all when he admitted the fans needed somebody new. if only to raise the excitement levels. A change is as good as a rest.
However I worry about the starchy approach of Evans. If you were a promising manager and you saw that interview you would think twice. A vastly experienced and respected manager like MM couldn't squeeze any more out of our squad, how are they going to do it? We're going to need the second coming to take over the reigns if we want to get into the top half next year.

Finishing above Norwich still means something to me
at 15:35 2 Apr 2018

Will we win another game this season? I worry for the future. It's still going to be Mick's team long into next year and a new face is going to have to act quickly to make an impact. This league is so tough we could end up going down if we get it only a little bit wrong.

Remember where we were when he arrived? We could very easily be there again.

The lack of tactical nouse on the pitch
at 21:00 18 Jan 2017

I think that was just arrogance tbh. We went up to snatch a late winner. didn't occur that they may break and do the same. Nice to see Tom Lawrence try to get back though. the other forward players seemed not to give a damn
