| Forum Thread | Abysmal at 22:17 23 Nov 2021
Utterly abysmal tonight. The only players to come out of that with any credit or respect are Edmundson and Edwards. Celina was disinterested and constantly gave the ball away, Fraser looked like a pub player and is so slow, our supposed saviour and captain kept spinning around in circles and passing it backwards and sideways! We were second best to every ball, didn’t look up for it and quite frankly are just not good enough. Cook has had plenty of time now to get this right and it failing miserably. Yes, we got a great result from the Wycombe and Portsmouth matches and were unlucky on Sat to lose but overall it’s just not working and tonight was as depressing as most cold Tuesday nights we’ve had to suffer over the last 10years |
| Forum Thread | Our best 11 on current form.. at 09:42 24 Feb 2021
Based on the last few games I’m surprised to admit that I think our strongest defence is: GK: Holy RB: Chambers CB: Wilson CB: Toto LB: Kenlock After how well Dozzell and Bishop played they should start which means Downes only has a place on the bench. I’d rather see Edward’s start than Bennetts and again based on form, Judge should probably start too. Norwood if fit is a given for a starting spot and with Jackson being out in the cold, the other starter should be Parrott. All these loanees, yet based on current form and our mini revival only Parrott deserves a starting spot for me. Don’t change a winning side Lambert. Anyone agreee/disagree? | Forum Thread | Cook, Cowley and Dyer at 11:02 18 Feb 2021
With it looking like Cook will be appointed the new Bristol manager and the Cowleys allegedly not of interest to ME, how would you all feel if ME got rid of Lambert and appointed Dyer on an interim basis? Surely it has to be better than having Lambert in charge and it will give Evans a chance to assess if Kieron has what it takes. If so, he had the chance of being appointed permanently in the summer and if he struggles, there will surely be a few more options in the summer than there are now. What other realistic and appealing options are there if Evans pulls the trigger and Cook and Cowleys are not options?... 🤔 |
| Forum Thread | Season ticket compensation email at 16:27 11 Feb 2021
Anyone else just received an email about ST compensation? The club know there are a lot of fed up fans so thought they’d best send an email out about something we want to know about. However, it doesn’t actually inform us of anything significant and is a lot of waffle. I think we’d all prefer an email about who our new manager is! Sigh. |
| Forum Thread | Disgraceful at 21:01 9 Feb 2021
Other than the early Norwood goal and the saved Parrot shot at the end we were truly awful and looked clueless and at times a dirty team. That was so easy for Peterborough. The season is already over so get rid of that clown now Evans |

I’ve paid for the match on iplayer but instead of commentary can hear all the players shouting. How do I turn it on please?.. |
| Forum Thread | We just don’t look like scoring do we? at 16:34 30 Jan 2021
All the possession and pretty passing is pointless if we can’t score goals!! One up front is a joke and Lambert is too stubborn to play two strikers together. The man needs to be sacked tonight. Sort it out Evans! [Post edited 30 Jan 2021 16:35]

| Forum Thread | Waghorn to Derby and Jerome to Ipswich at 14:51 6 Aug 2018
Heard that we have enquiried about Cameron Jerome. With so many strikers at Derby they may be prepared to let one or two go. I know the Norwich connection but if we could bring him in I think it would be a great signing. |
| Forum Thread | Waghorn to Boro? at 14:35 28 Jul 2018
With Leeds trying to sign Patrick Bamford from Boro for £7m I would not be surprised if Boro come in with an offer for Waghorn. Isn’t he from N.East originally? With Derby seemingly not offering enough and also signing Marriott I reckon Boro is his most likely destination if we sell him this week. On the bench again today.. |
| Forum Thread | Andre Dozzell value in 2 years.. at 10:58 12 Jun 2018
With all the chat of James Maddison being worth £25m and interesting a handful of Premier League clubs if Andre Dozzell stays fit and becomes a regular for us in the next season or two surely he would be worth at least that too? I hope he is a star player for us for many years but the prices players are going for these days surely he has the potential to be our most prized asset of all time and will no doubt be sold and move on to bigger and better things to balance the books. |
| Forum Thread | My sources inform me.. at 18:08 18 May 2018
That Jack Ross has been interviewed again and impressed but is also really attracting 2 or 3 other clubs. ME has made it clear (more within the club and with his advisers) he wants to speak with Paul Hurst but with his commitments/distractions of P/O final this may be a few days away and that is if PH even wants to engage in a conversation. If, in the meantime whilst Evans waits and with the rumours of interest elsewhere, another club offer JR the job, more money and bigger spending budget and PH gets he Shrews up the genuine fear internally is we could lose out on both. Evans is a businessman and wants the right/best man for the job but the people on the inside I know are genuinely concerned if we don’t snap up Ross in next 48hrs the bigger the risk of losing him to a rival and also missing out with PH too. Personally, I think the longer Evans drags this out in the hope of speaking wih Hurst the bigger the likelihood by early week after next he will be looking at his b list if he doesn’t snap up JR ASAP [Post edited 18 May 2018 19:00]
