Sunderland and Charlton Allocations Sell Out
at 19:51:24

I don't understand why we haven't been given more for both matches. Sad that a number of fans will miss out.

Great effort by everyone going!

Celina: Fans One of the Biggest Reasons For Return
at 18:43:55

I was there for his Burton away goal and hope to see more displays like that. Great player on his day, with the potential to tear League One defences to pieces.

Ex-Blues Skipper Walters Wants to Be PFA Chief Executive
at 14:12:53

In his interviews, Jon has always come across well. Good luck to him, but as some others have mentioned, he may be too outspoken and the PFA might not want someone who doesn't always do what they are told.

Owner Evans Issues Statement
at 22:01:18

Dear Supporters and Season Ticket holders (Mugs)

Thanks for the 9,000 of you that forked out for a season ticket, when you knew that it wouldn't be possible to attend many matches. Unfortunately, because thousands of other "fans" couldn't be bothered to support the club and spend a few quid on non usable season tickets, we haven't been able to afford a decent physio team, hence the numerous injuries that we have had to deal with. So the long injury list is the fans fault.

It is also all your fault for making me get rid of Mick, who was happy to keep us in the Championship, with very little funding. His departure is all your fault.

The players are all so upset about you saying nasty thing about Paul and Lee, that they struggle to perform for their inspirational manager, (who also played in a Champions League Final, did you know)?

I have seen many green (and yellow) shoots this season, which fills me full of hope for the remainder of the season.

Mr Marcus Evans

PS: Any chance you can all go online and buy plenty of Christmas goodies for your family, because I am hoping to send Paul and his hard working team on a well deserved mid season break, once the travel restrictions are lifted?

O'Neill: Lambert's Job is Safe

Blue86 - At least Jim could get us a win over Norwich.......maybe that is why he was sacked? I can't remember that far back, but maybe we also won a cup game that season too?

PFA: Players Will Have to Share Financial Burden
at 08:25:52

When a Premier League player can earn more per year in wages than what a club the size of Ipswich take in annual turnover, that shows why football is killing itself.

The Premier League is the worst thing that ever happened to English football......and I would still say that if we were in the PL.

The Jim Magilton Interview - Part Four
at 20:09:09

Jim was a top player and cared.

For so long since, it seems that many important people at the club, at all levels, don't.

The fact that we haven't beaten Norwich since he was sacked, says so much.

Former Loanee N'Daw Admits to Lying About Age
at 23:00:56

Maybe I am being a bit thick here, but surely, at some stage, they would need to present their passport to play for an European club, which would show their date of birth. If that is the case, then the clubs would know their age unless they have a passport with a false DOB on it, which I would assume is quite a serious offence???

Sunderland 1-0 Ipswich Town - Match Report

Almost 2,000 Town fans - unbelievable effort from them, respect.

Gutting how we cannot play for more than 45 mins, or kill teams off in 45 mins.

Lambert: Stay Off the Pitch
at 16:33:26

How many Norwich fans got arrested and banned after the play-off semi then? They were in the faces of town players, yet nothing happens to them.

Yes, I know fans aren't supposed to jump over the wall etc, but there was nothing malicious in the Town fans actions and they certainly weren't targeting opposition players with abuse.

Town Lead Cut to One Point Ahead of Accrington Trip

It would be a massive 3 points, if we can do it today. A slip would give the chasing clubs a big boost, but 3 points for us would be a great show of intent. COYBB.

History Boys and Renaissance Men
at 19:28:17

They were amazing days. I was 10 when we lifted the FA Cup and that was one of my greatest ever days.

We literally feared no-one. I remember feeling robbed when we only got a point against Liverpool. Sir Bobby was an absolute legend and done incredibly well to not only replace most of the 78 cup winning team, but better it. It is such a travesty that he didn't win one league title with us. Like the earlier poster, I am still haunted that we beat Villa 3 times in the season that they won the league and even more so, that we beat them at theirs, just a few days after our extra-time cup semi defeat, also at Villa Park.

Eric Gates and the Great Escape
at 22:43:52

Unbelievable memories. I went to Wolves, where we won and then sat amongst the Anfield faithfull as we went 2-0 up. Was gutted we didn't win that day. Man U away the next week and from being 1-0 down, we done them 2-1. We were staying up and they couldn't win the league.....fking mental! We were locked in the ground for at least 30 mins afterwards as their fans tried to attack us from above and when we were let out, I don't think I have ever seen so many "fans" waiting for us, plus a line of coppers 3 or 4 deep that were protecting us.

On the motorway drive back home, the Liverpool fans were saluting us and vice versa.....whilst the Mancs were not too impressed!

Probably in the top 10 of my footballing memories and I hadn't remembered about Burley and Butcher.
