| News Comment | McCarthy Denies Aiming Tirade at Fans at 16:40:42
If anyone goes to that place and chants against our team, it's manager, staff or anything to do with our club, they are no supporters of ITFC. No true supporter would air there dirty laundry at a Town game, let alone AT THAT PLACE!! Shocking. |
| News Comment | McCarthy: Murph's Goals Had Been Coming at 21:15:11
Just seen Murphs third - pure Micky Lambert! Must have seen him shape to go down the wing from a throw, cut back inside and shot a dozen times a year, excellent stuff! |
| News Comment | Bru Signs New Deal at 17:02:13
First time I saw him he reminded me of Pablo.....then he ran back and tackled, closed someone down, tracked back and spent the game working. Nothing like Pablo, thank god! |
| News Comment | McCarthy: Best of the Season at 20:40:06
So what happened to all the Paul Taylor fans - 12 months ago every other poster wanted him on the pitch! Mick's 'no dickhead' policy is paying big dividends!! |
| News Comment | Clegg Dismisses Keane Claim at 22:13:30
The best thing from the Clegg/Keene era was, without doubt, Basil Smallpiece. Regency Blue - good call! |
| News Comment | Pablo Hits Back at Keane at 18:23:21
Only one man has done more damage to the club than Keene, and the 'entertainment' he served up was shocking, however, calling Pablo lazy is not his worst crime. I don't get the 'legend' comments - Pablo never gave us enough under any manager, huge talant (and wage) that delivered too rarely. Couldnt see him lasting long under MM, another Taylor! |
| News Comment | McCarthy Issues Challenge to Taylor at 08:42:10
last week I had a long chat with a guy who works at posh, I won't repeat the details but lets just say he did not give a shining charater referenceto Mr Taylor - he felt that the team as a whole was stonger without his skills. maybe we should be careful what we wish for, and trust MM and TC to do thier jobs with all the info that they have available. coyb |
| News Comment | Town Squad in Portugal at 14:13:09
Oi Peter Morris, I'm no 'Onda man (only one Honda in 35 years riding)! Mind, I do like Hogster putting MM on a wet dream - TC in the side car maybe! |
| News Comment | Town Squad in Portugal at 17:24:54
petermorris - I expect you passed Chambo and Smithy, two up on their CG 125 on the way to Stansted! pity poor Luke, I hear he rides a Honda crunch complete with oversized top box. TC on a 400/4..... better stop now before I get carried away |
| News Comment | McCarthy: As Poor as We've Played at 17:24:17
thanks IITFC1948, I wont have to send her to the naughty step! I thought Davis got away with murder yesterday, maybe the ref was a little too in awe of his premier reputation to notice he plays most of the game with his arms around defenders. kind of puts 1-1 in a certain light, we would all feel a bit happier with a 1-0 me thinks! |
| News Comment | McCarthy: As Poor as We've Played at 09:51:22
anyone actually see Mings go down, I was 'ball watching' and had looked away but my 9 year old daughter reckons Davis went in very late on him? |
| News Comment | Town 1-1 Barnsley at 00:14:19
...and on a brighter note, I had by far the best pint (Ghostship) that I've ever had in the ground at half time, didn't realise that we had a cask ale bar under tucked away under the west stand! Unfortunately that was - I think we can all agree- the only highlight. I can take 1-1 at home against a struggling side if we try and play some football, but if the powers-that-be dictate that this is only a 'results industry' rather than entertainment and we continue to perform like that........ rant over, nothing to see here..... |
| News Comment | O'Neill Fans' Favourite for Boro at 13:48:16
What Mogga?! You mean we would be expected to watch a team playing with the ball on the floor, see a team develop over time and our youngsters be given a chance rather than relying on overpaid-underperforming journeymen pros and loanees......what's the matter with upper management, don't they want to continue to hike the prices and drive down crowds! sarcastic rant over, nothing to see here........ |
| Blog Comment | Rugby: A ‘Respect’ Campaign In Action at 19:56:09
Nice blog Tim. brendanh- totally disagree about rugby being easier to referee, it has way more grey areas. I do agree that it can be difficult to follow as at least 50% of the game is played in those 'brutal' scrums, rucks and mauls, but don't think for a moment that there is no skill in those tight encounters and to describe the game as 'cack' slightly overlooks the quality of entertainment we have 'enjoyed' at PR in recent years. I started playing football at the age of 36, during a rugby injury in an effort to keep a level of fitness. In my second game I came close to being sent off after a clumsy but fairly harmless challange - the ref thought I was taking the p1ss..... by addressing him as sir. |
| News Comment | Town 3-0 Crystal Palace at 23:26:40
That was hilarious! Can anybody think of a example of one team being so outplayed as we were in the first half, and yet go in at half-time 3-0 up! This is a very silly league, a very silly season, and tonight was a very silly game......loved it. |
| News Comment | Early Bird Deadline Today at 11:30:03
have I got this right?... we get to pay today for games in May 2014, without knowing for certain which division we are in, which players will entertain us, or how much we will be charged for renewing after today. someone help me out here, does any other industry/entertainment get away with this behaviour? (....and why do we put up with it?) |
