I don't want to put the dampers on the excitement over Jack Ross potentially gertting the job, but how many have actually seen his side play?

He talks intelligently about the game on camera so I'd thought I'd check out his side on Youtube. This is what I found. It's hardly total football...

I love the clamour for George Burley to come back as manager, but can anyone shed any light on something for me?

Before MM was appointed, I said on here the Burley would be a good choice and was told by more than one person that he was not employable due to a rumoured serious drink problem. Is this still an issue does anyone know? Cheers.

Reading about the Sir Bobby Robson film made me think about our friend down the road. I know how much they like to celebrate mediocrity and that got me thinking who their equivalent film would be about.

"Bryan Gunn... More than just caretaker" perhaps...

Promotion odds

Just had a quick look on Oddschecker and we are 40/1 to get promotion with some bookmakers.

I had a tenner at 29/1 earlier in the season. Seems crazy that we are nearly half way through the season, Ipswich are just outside the playoffs, yet our odds have lengthened. Time for another tenner I reckon.

With one day left on his contract.

That way he'll only have to pay him off for 1 day and MM doesn't get the satisfaction of walking away from the club smelling of roses.

I'm beginning to think he'd make a good Director of Football with someone younger / more adventurous as manager.
