| News Comment | Bishop's Lincoln Move Confirmed at 13:32:49
After sitting beside him and a couple of mates drunk and abusive to staff and others, glad to see him go. |
| News Comment | Cambridge Eyeing Bishop at 11:13:36
After watching Teddy Bishop and a couple of his mates in a Cambridge restaurant one lunchtime, drunk, arrogant, treating the staff disgustingly, trying to cause trouble with passers-by, I've got no time for him. He was lucky the staff were professional and didn't share on social media. |
| News Comment | Andrews: PLC Shares Have Little If Any Value at 10:58:46
If you are in debt more than what you are worth, you are worthless, no value. Actually negative value. In simple terms, to make yourself worth something you have to reduce your debt, or increase your value. To reduce the debt, we need cash. We have little to no options other than raising cash through promotion. We don't own the stadium. We don't have any other high value assets (players, etc). A buyer is not going to happen any time soon for all these reasons. To increase value, we need high value assets. Buy cheap, buy young, and pray we can turn some into high value players. The catch being without cash to spend, they will be very cheap, and therefore high, high risk (ie. unlikely to happen). Unless the value of a club is higher than their debt, the value of a club's shares will be worthless. Which is why high value clubs (Man City, Barcelona, etc) can have large but manageable debts. They can afford to borrow more, to increase their value more than the additional borrowed amount. And there aren't many of those sorts of clubs..... Short version? Don't invest in a football club! |

So the stats say they were better, but it wasn't a robbery. 0-1 would have been a robbery. To score 3 goals, we won, simple as. We'll done lads. Onwards and upwards! |
| News Comment | Derby County 2-0 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 08:33:11
@BcarefulwhatUWish4 -- and via that link, the table on that day had Bolton, Brentford and Millwall as the bottom three. Today, two of them are in the top six (3rd and 4th), and the other mid table (14th). So be careful with stats mate. You can tell any story you want. |
| News Comment | Brentford 1-0 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 18:18:48
MM is going to be history, it amazes me that rather than harp on about MM, questions aren't being asked about how effin awful our "CEO" is acting. |
| News Comment | Ipswich Town 2-2 Millwall - Match Report at 17:48:44
Came away feeling entertained, especially the last mad 15 minutes. That's all I ask for. Adding Folami up front made a difference. Credit to Millwall for going for the win, and some bizarre defending (and Bart pulling off saves) at the end! |
| News Comment | McCarthy: A Strange Feeling at 09:41:04
My question is why, as a an organisation, isn't the Chief Exec leading the situation? The fact he hides behind closed doors at such an obvious time when he, or at least "the club", should be making the statement, answering questions, etc., is more symptomatic of the problems we have. The bigger picture is of far more concern. MM is leaving. So where is the leadership? |
| News Comment | Ticket Offer for Wolves Match at 08:47:36
I've got no problem with this. The choice of buying a season ticket is made knowing full well these sort of promotions happen, and I would rather a larger crowd attended to support the team on the field during those 90 minutes than not. Outside those 90 minutes people can do, say, act and protest how they want towards the club. |
