I think it's great were going for younger talent who will improve with us hopefully - the only problem is we have proved not very good at managing or developing our younger players over the recent years, in fact we could be accused of not havin' a clue. |

20 isn't large enough and would only work if all twenty were good enough, with not enough money spent there is no way we will be stronger than last season. Too many of our good players have proved already they aren't consistent enough over the course of a season - I highly doubt if we will acquire better quality so next season we will be weaker. If we include JB as one example then it'd be a miracle if he was available for every match, factor in injuries, suspensions and bad luck and we could well only have 16 squad players for a game, maybe less.

What a garbage statement by Clegg...........suggests his wiseness all along as if he is so astute..........Pompey are the only Club which he could compare his performance too and be happy. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrghhhhhhhhhhh. The fact of the matter is Norris probably hasn't lost out at all.....after all he's had one signing on fee and another coming with obviously better wages.
Clegg shouldn't be allowed to talk to reporters.
I remember him slagging off norwich when he started saying they were tiny...........I thought at the time that was entirely pointless.....look what happened there. |
