Brothers and sisters, can someone let me know if you can park in, er, Cardinal Park on matchdays? I have to meet some friends there beforehand on Friday - we are actually eating in the Italian there if that helps. I normally park much further away! |

I thought he needed more time here but I'm happy to say I was wrong. I don't know how much of a say he had in signing Burns/Walton/Burgess etc but I salute him for planting the seeds of our success |

1) January transfer window. Well done Ashton on the acquisitions (Clarke/Broadhead/Luongo and Hirst), all of whom have played a major part in our revival.
2) Luongo. Let’s not underestimate just what a difference he has made. He has made 8 appearances for us. We have won seven and are yet to concede a goal when he plays.
3) Burgess. What a colossus he has been at the back. Wasn’t my first choice at the start of the season but, boy, has he taken his opportunity this season.
4) The bloke who had an argument with Morsy at Bristol Rovers. Since that 0-0 defeat we've won 7 without conceding. Maybe the team needed a kick up the arse that day.
5) McKenna. I was a big fan of paul Cook but this guy is different gravy - and it's his first full season as a manager.
I could go on.....maybe one or two of you will add a few more reasons! [Post edited 1 Apr 2023 17:57]

Dominated posession. Limited them to a couple of chances. I thought Ladapo worked really hard up front. Midfield had a bit of bite. At the back we looked solid enough. A good away point. Pompey might not be world beaters but they rarely threatened and needed a worldy free kick to break us down. They worked hard but we had the class players. It would have been a traversity had we lost. Only issue for me is Leif….give him a rest ffs! Onwards and upwards. |

Were both our goals offside? Can’t tell on ifollow but Burgess looked as though he was in front of Ladapo, while Chappers was in acres of space for that rebound. If those goals were against us, I’m sure we’d be going bonkers about the refereeing. Btw, the ref was crap. |

Hey, Joe. I would avoid the PS5 at all costs. Expensive unit. Expensive games. Not worth your bucks. I am guessing you are in your Forties? So did you grow up playing Spectrums, Commodore 64s, Ataris and such like? Perhaps the PS1 or Super Nintendo. Anyway…..you could think about getting an emulation device such as a Pandoras Box or an Anbernic handheld device. Go to aliexpress and/or youtube to see examples. In a nutshell, you could pay, say, £100 for something which has 8,000 games already pre-built (from EVERY console you can think of up to Nintendo 64/Dreamcast) into the unit and it’s just plug and play into your TV - or you could have a similar thing in the palm of your hand for a similar cost. If you want more info, DM me. Of course, go for the PS5 if that’s yer thing but in my humble opinion it ain’t worth the price you’re paying. |

One amazing bit of skill today - Bale-esque. Long ball out to him. Controlled it perfectly out of the sky and in the same move broke forward with the ball. Superb.

Good to see a captain dishing out a few ‘ollockings to team-mates today. Bakinson seemed to be on the end of a few. Morsy just seems to be getting better and better every time I see him. He’s like a Rolls Royce in this division. |

For what it’s worth, neither Stuart nor Andy would be getting the praise on here if it wasn’t for Mark. He is the glue that binds the whole pod together. And all three are fantastic journos who we are lucky to have at the local rag. I used to listen religiously to BM but it now reminds me of the arrogant sixth formers at my secondary school who used to do debating societies. Still, I applaud anyone who puts in the time and effort to produce free quality content like these two pods. Well done. |
