| News Comment | Wark Tops Stand Pillar Poll at 17:45:28
so in over 140 years of history we have selected 3 teams. Such a shame that only 12 can be honoured and i believe Chambers needs some recognition but i agree its hard to remove anyone from that list. personally as an 80s and 90s massive fan i am happy with a lot of the choices and also believe Holland and Super Jim deserve their spots. But i enjoyed jason dozzell, chris kiwomya, dalian atkinson etc too. such a tough decision - i propose we put up more pillars! |

Do we know what happens with the tickets? Do we receive a refund and reapply when the new date is announced or can we use the original ticket? I knew buying them was a risk and it was pretty obvious it may cancel but waiting wasnt an option |
| News Comment | Former Blues Boss Ferguson Dies at 12:44:34
Another gentleman gone. Part of our glory years and the time when it was fantastic to be a town fan - not just because of the football we played but the way the club was run - the Cobbolds, Robson and Ferguson was a fantastic relationship that made the club so fantastic to support. RIP Bobby, go grab a glass and enjoy a drink with SBR and JC |
| News Comment | Chambers: Norwich "Nowhere Near" Play-Off Season Level at 14:35:39
the best part of yesterday was Chambo running to the corner flag and punching the canary - so much passion and he looked thoroughly pissed off at the end - the dream of a fist pump at carrow dump gone. But they are a one man team at the moment - lose Maddison and they have nothing |

A true legend of the club - held in the same high regards as Sir Alf and Sir Bobby. Thanks for the memories - and for winning the first division for the club too. RIP Ted |
| News Comment | Fulham 4-1 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 12:22:26
A lot of mistakes made last night - it started with Sears being bought on instead of McGoldrick. The one player who has no confidence at all at the moment coming onto the pitch when we were right under the cosh and couldnt get the ball to Garner. Its so pityful that in the second half he just booted the ball up the line and it went off for a throw and we felt the need to sing his name? is that all it takes now? Jordan made a foolish mistake - but we all know the linesman caused the frustration - an easy foul and yellow card against sears was not given. Knudsen was skinned every time in a race for the ball. Sessignon was non existent first half and i said to my son "look where he is playing now - more like a winger" as we went further and further backwards - and guess what - 2 goals. Chambers and Smith did not play well. I thought Iorfa was better than Spence. Celina gave the ball away a lot. Singing for Bart to stay - he didnt acknowledge the chants....says a lot...so disappointing and i dont hold out much hope for the remainder of the campaign now. |
| News Comment | Meet the Club at Supporters Club AGM at 11:31:14
i loved the late 80's - i was a teenager supporting a club that had gained successes domestically and in europe and i felt the club was rebuilding without the butchers, mariners etc and we had the kevin wilsons, dalian atkinsons, jason dozzells that became our new favourites. the club had passion - being in the north stand was a buzz and i couldnt wait for saturdays (and i lived 100 miles away). now i live 200 miles away and go about 10 times a season home and away. I still want to have an identity with the club, but i dont think that they feel the same way about the fans. Non committed owner, dinosaur manager, incredibly naive tactics and some players that just dont seem to care. The club are however very good at marketing me to spend lots more money in the club shop though! OK we will never get another SBR (rest in peace) but i would love another Jim Magilton. Someone that cared about the club, when we lost it hurt - and just to feel the buzz on a Saturday again. Millwall away was a buzz - but only because we nearly threw it away. I want my Ipswich back. |
| News Comment | McCarthy Bitterly Disappointed But Pleased With Performance at 11:31:51
Burton is a good side? Good lord man, wake up ! What disappoints me most about yesterday was that for the first time in a long while i thought we had a chance to beat them. A more attacking team than the budgies on paper but knew we would lose the centre of midfield. The performance in the second half was appalling and you could feel the negativity creeping through the team and the terraces after they scored. The only one that couldnt see that, unsuprisingly is Mick ! Time to go..... |
| News Comment | Ipswich Town 5-2 Sunderland - Match Report at 09:15:20
I am more than happy to see 7 goal thrillers where the naiveity of the defence is counteracted by an attacking force as Town have now. Garner and Waghorn have been fantastic additions, McGoldrick is on fire at the moment and lets pray we get a full season from him as that will be worth 5 to 6 places to us at the end of the season. I dont see a place for Sears at present - his early form has not been great. Celina has made a great start and Chambers and Knudsen too. A lot to be optimistic about - probably the first time i have relished the Norwich game in a while. Keep going Town ! |
| News Comment | Town Targeting Former Newcastle Defender Taylor at 11:22:32
I quite like him. Dependable and good in the air. Think about the stinkers from Berra this year when you can usually rely on him in the air and i think we have good cover. I would like to see him with Webster. I think Berra is going backwards so anything than can stem the rot will help |
| News Comment | Berra: We've Got to Get Back to Keeping Clean Sheets at 17:55:34
the same guy mis-times a header against QPR - we go one nil down. He does the same against Lincoln and we go 2-1 down (incredible finish by the way). 2 years ago we raved about the Smith and Berra combination with Mings on the left and Parr as a more than suitable replacement full back. Now we have sold Mings, let Parr go when we should have kept him, got KNUDSEN !!!, smith can not get a game, Berra is playing poorly, and chambers is way off what we need as a player, let alone skipper. Our only credible defender at present is Webster. And as for the fitness of their team (being full time and all that) their striker completely destroyed Knudsen - we were lucky to not lose at the end - surely our fitness should be beyond theirs?? Sorry Berra, embarrassing statement |
| News Comment | Webster: Frustrating Result at 18:36:34
Webster was one of the better players on the day. What i found incredulous in the second half was he was playing ahead of Douglas. He is one of a few brighter moments in this season which sadly is just going from worse to worse. Please Mick, what do you see in Douglas, Knudsen or Chambers? Enlighten me, because i can not remember a game in ages where they had credit and Knudsen is still dining out on his Norwich Goal. I can not wait to have Pitman back (amazing really, i live in Bournemouth and watched him quite a bit there and thought he was poor, now he is one of our better and more creative players - says a lot!) and want to see McGoldrick get back in form. I just hope we do something with the centre of the park too - why have Jonny Williams on the bench and then bring him on in a wide position to try and turn the game around? Also one of the quietest away games i have been too in a long time, but i know why. The fans are deflated - who would want to stand up and sing Mick Ma now? You would be lynched....MICK OUT |
| News Comment | Campbell Held Town Talks Last Week? at 10:33:51
not sure that we are trying to build a club for premiership football by considering a 35 year old centre back - yes he is good enough for any championship side i feel, but if we go up (big IF) in the next 2 years a 37 year old centre back will not be premiership material. Take him short term maybe, on loan - god knows we could do with someone there at the moment with a bit of experience, but thats it |
