Absolute madness, I’ve been thinking the same thing! Like you said teams targeted him and I would put it down to being the reason we didn’t finish top 2! Mick was slated by fans for constantly playing him there! People forget so quickly! |

If Marriott was still here this season he would be given a chance, MM got a big kick up the ass from town fans last season about his style of play,not playing youngsters. This season it’s completely different, academy players making there debuts loads this season. Unfortunately when Marriott was here MM was so far up his own ass he would rather play someone like a 30+ Connor Sammon than give Marriott a chance. The kid never got a chance here just as Jordan Rhodes didn’t |

I can’t help but be bitter about it, he was banging goals in for fun when he was playing for are reserves, what more is a striker supposed to do to get in the team, I’m sorry but he was developing just fine here, scoring goals and doing all he can do and then Ipswich release him! If you haven't got children at the moment but are planning to in the future I hope there a nightmare so you can actually understand how ridiculous your post really is. SEEN AND NOT HEARD? Kids kick off, it's as simple as that. Weve all been there when kids are going mad and we wish they'd just do one but it's a part of life, we've all been there. I've been in supermarkets when my boys kicking off and people are looking at me like I'm a bad parent, surly this happens to the best of people? And for the record if someone said something to me because my boy was banging a table in a restaurant I'd wouldn't hesitate to tell them where to go. Ridiculous post, do you have children? |

The fans of our club are a joke, I was just reading the forum about Tom Lawrence not being very good and being glad to see the back of him! What planet are these people on? All the crap you read on here about mick and the moment he gives it back all you get is that's unprofessional, he makes a comment about sir bobby and all you get is comments about mick making it about himself! It's hilarious as well as unbelievable at the same time. We've always been a club witch has prided it's self at giving are managers time, mick has one bad season out of 4 and people want him gone, out of are club and all the good he's done forgotten! Some fans need to take a long hard look at themselves and think about things before they say it! (Or type it) |

That hilarious, do fans not have a right to protest with the amount of money that they've spent? The football is piss poor and the season tickets go up and up and the investment in the side seems to get less and less! Something ain't right about that? I actually like mick, don't get me wrong his footballs poor, you can clearly see he's under pressure by some of the stuff he's actually coming out and saying but I would just loved to or seen him back properly like Evans last 3 managers, the problem with Ipswich Town Football Club is Marcus Evans, it's not enough just to keep a club afloat in modern football, we want more and we have every right to expect it. I bet you haven't been to a game in years otherwise you'd understand. |
