O'Neill on Lambert Press Conference: We All Get Frustrated at Times
at 18:27:23

Adds to the frustration when you sell a decent striker to a rival and then actively look for someone in same position on loan.

Would never expect millions to be spent. Possibly 750,000 max on two players would do me.

Not what the fans deserve O'Neil and Evans.

Niiice to linked to some players finally. Hurst must know some real gems in that league. Fingers crossed Evans and co can see them over the line. Coyb

Sunderland Confirm Ross Appointment
at 13:49:12

I don't think you can look that far ahead NCA. We are not in the same division or have have the same budget. I get your point, I won't be moaning either.

Hurst would be my first choice, Ross second. The money and location has helped but they 'wanted him now' we didn't. His budget in league 1 far outweighs the rest of the pack.

It's a risky strategy to wait this long, as the demand for managers goes up . So i am really worried that we won't get Hurst as the others are not up to it in my opinion. Praying that this gamble by Evans comes off. Next week can't come soon enough!

Town Confirm McCarthy and Connor to Leave at End of Season
at 10:54:30

Gone but not forgotten. The man we needed back then but not now!

He contentiously lacked investment in the team from Evans when we were riding high in January, only to falter during the play-offs. That was such a missed opportunity in my opinion.

One questions remains, what could have been achieved if he was given the financial backing he deserved?

McCarthy: McGoldrick's an Obvious Target in January
at 15:53:57

Nail on the head there Timmy2guns.
The only thing you forgot to mention was the discussion of extending his contract extension before we end up in this situation! Why hasn't it started? Did it start behind the scenes and Didzy doesn't fancy it?

If (I and can only assume here) that the club has taken the same shambolic approach to contract negotiations as Chambers last year, then it doesn't look good.

In my opinion we can't afford to let our best players leave. What on earth is happening to the club that we love?

Knudsen: I'm a Better Player for Joining Town
at 12:43:23

Very disappointed in our so called fans at the start of this post. Do they actually watch our matches?

I was in the Brentford end and took a spurs fan with me. Apart of the fabulous Bartos, Knudsen was strong in the air, solid in the tackle and tried to play football. This was coming from the spurs fan btw.

Others last Saturday were much more disappointing. The midfield were totally non existent. Bad day at the office, lets move and get behind them COYB

Murphy, Bishop and Coke Miss Trip, Touré and Varney Doubts, But Dozzell Will Travel
at 16:05:17

Town fans mystify me.
MM has no money, so has to gamble on what he can get. Sometimes we get a Berra, others time a Coke! That's what happens people when the owner doesn't want to spend a penny!

I would also like to add, I was appalled by the utter rejection and dismay Douglas received for extending his contract. A player wants to stay at our club and we (a term used rather loosely) knock him down!

Before you ask, I have seen the vast majority of games this season! COYB

Judge: Messages of Support Touching
at 13:01:19

McCommack — we all know that this type of response goes on in football but you don't need to say it. Not exactly role model behaviour. I can only assume the comments were made in the heat of moment. Understandable but not acceptable.

Hyam — is not a dirty player but will need to learn fast from this experience. It's shame that he wasn't substituted directly after — said it at the time and Macca that's one you got wrong in my opinion

Cook — you got away with it son!

Town's Style Didn't Suit Oar

Was this mum or his agent that said all of this?

If true, for the money they earn I would expect them to at least try to adapt???

I'm sorry but you do your homework before you move. Some half ar$e agent with a modern day footballer attitude - surely the second word has to be off!

@70s_Legend

I understand your frustration but the vast majority of people had season tickets in that section long people the club decided designate it a family area.

Also, all fans should be considered regardless of their generation.

The letters sent were appalling. (I will try and share). The alterative seats, an absolute joke.

There are plenty of empty seat sections to create a family section rather than picking on loyal fans.

For me, this another sickening example of how clueless our ticketing management team are. Again, ripping us for play-off tickets against Norwich, far more expensive than what their home fans had to pay.

Those seats have sentimental value too, many of the lone tickets now are due to family bereavements. I personally know at least two cases where this applies.

Loyalty in football - died a long time ago! Shame too, as clubs like ours rely on it!

New Boy Hewitt in Squad for Burnley
at 15:44:26

Crikey we have some miseries on here!

EH needs at least 6 first games before people should pass judgement on him. The fact that hes in the squad can only be positive!

As for the loans, MM has already got rid of one. At least he has some time before the Jan window to assess the rest that don't care. Having said that, some our permanent signings could show more passion!!!

3 points for town on Saturday if we score first, COYB!!!!!!!
