That’s a ridiculous score for Joe Pigott. His hold up play and lay offs were pretty good and his overall contribution was also significant. If DT was worth 6.5 Pigott was worth more or at least, the same.

The finishing team should start in the cup replay next week. We need to end the TV. Run of defeats and this team will do it.

Really don’t understand subbing Chaplin. He’s the most effective no.10 we have. I think we need to see him with Pigott for 2/3 games because Bonne has gone off a bit.

Such a poor game. Such a poor Town performance. Despite trying to be positive about PL it really is difficult and I’m close to joining the “outers”.BUT how can 17 fouls only lead to one Shrews yellow card? How did Marc Pugh get away with treading on Bishop’s heel with no card? On the other hand Shrews should have had at least one other penalty..Really worried who’ll be fit for Tuesday let alone the next two matches.
WHAT A MISERABLE SATURDAY!

3 points-thank goodness. Nolan clearly MOM but as most said in Chatroom, Downes and Lancaster made the difference today. need to have Downes starting so does it means Bishop left out? Is Lancaster fit enough to play 90 minutes? Beginning to feel as though we have some real choices. Very pleasing start to season

Ipswich fought themselves into the game as the first half went on and were the better footballing team by half time. Much better than WW until they equalised but the Beast made a difference for 15 crucial minutes to getWW back in and then on top. By the end Town were hanging on somewhat. Great shame Norris repeated his Boxing Day error; looks like Holy will have to come back. Judge much better and whole team hardworking. But this is such a poor division. The pitch was very poor.
Not sure what I think about Lambert’s new contract. It seems very long for a club in our position.

I didn’t expect three points but boy am I happy. Despite some iffiness and missses by Leeds the defence did a good job.Having Skuse back makes us so much more solid. The goal by Celina was a belter. I reallydo’t understand those fans complaining about the yearly young player loans eg Fraser, Maitland Niles, Lawrence and Celina; once settled they’ve been key players for us. MMc needs praise for this even if other aspects of his management irritates fans.

Well done Town. although I tipped 2-1 to Town I had a sneaky feeling that not only would they get passed off the pitch I worried they might also succumb to pressure. How wrong was I! Spence was excellent and the rest played well. Their chances were well taken and Reading were made to look a bit powder puff. It would have been good if Bishop had got on for 20 minutes or so because we are going to need him.
Looking forward to seeing them locally for me next week at Wolves. THAT wil be tough with their form and attacking intent.

Plenty of entertainment, real commitment from the players, good team selection and substitutions; what’s not to like? I’ll have that every match please. Waghorn exceptional, Webster very good and Huws getting back to being an orchestrator, just what we need. If every one of the players gets and keeps fit MM is going to have a headache selecting the starting eleven.

Can’t believe the low rating so far for Skuse. Were the raters there? If so, they know he was our most effective player today. If they weren’t there then their scores are prejuced and downright unfair.
The result was a little disappointing after a fine first 20 minutes but a point is welcome.

Well, I said after the Leeds game my cup was half full; now it's more. Good team selection for this match although I think it'll be tweaked for Bristol City on Saturday. Obviously Waghorn goal and 3 assists make him MOM but several very good performances such as McG as usual this season, Skuse and Knudsen.
Who would have believed fiveandtop scorers in the division?
Well done to all including MM.

Once again McG our best player, Celina dangerous but also careless, Bart, Skuse and Kenlock played well. Bolton better than I expected but Town poor in first half. Will be a challenge next week at Leeds, especially after their defeat at Millwall today. pleased to have five wins but not yet exuberant with play.

Finally caught out; one game too many with depleted squad and against a far superior team in terms of skill and passing ability. I'm sure most supporters will be delighted with 12 points at this stage, especially if asked before the season started. We need the international break but unlikely to be many returners to bolster the squad straightaway.
Furthermore, McGoldrick will probably get injured in Keane's hands in the next two weeks.
Despite the result today I'm hopeful that my pre-season forecast of 12th place will be bettered.

I was certain we would concede at least 1 (my prediction was 2-1 win); never did I think a clean sheet. Only 3 shots on target and two were goals; unbelievable since start of season. How did we get Garner and Waghorn so cheaply compared to so many other strikers' prices? But best of all is seeing McG in fine form; he is absolute class in this division. Just hope he stays fit when the Dark Lord gets hold of him in the international break.
I hope MM leaves some key players out on Tuesday at Palace, we need everyone left fit for Fulham next Saturday.
Congrats to everyone at PR after such a challenging week.

I predicted a win but not4-3. Howeverordinary the three teams we've beaten are you have to remember that no games are easy in this division. it'll get harder soon but unless the injuries /sickness continues we ought to win on Saturday against Brentford and that I think is a step up. It's great to feel the positivity all round.

Decent start to season, especially with number of injuries and sick notes. Surprised McG didn't start; I think he should normally play when fit and scoring. even so, MM got it right second half and he seems rejuvenated from last season's snarling and arrogant public face of our club. Very good signings and if the two strikers really did only cost £1 million between them, well done to everyone involved. Just hope his talk of getting two more players in due to latest injuries is correct. It's all looking hopeful so congratulations all on this start.

Ward was excellent, Garner a warrior and Downes very promising. Shame about Dozzell. Much better performance than expected. Have to say MM got things right today even though I expected Celina to get some time. I do think Webster has to start when fit. Now get a new striker in this coming week Mick.
A pleasing start.

What a result!L think it's been coming but I was worried we would have to wait until next season for it. McGoldrick is such a good player when fit. Very strong and vigorous midfield, another pleasing performance from Kenlock.

Disappointing. I thought it would be a hard fought 3points because Brentford are in a similar position to us and play more open football. But with our recent form I thought we'd nick it. McC picked the team I expected, despite the moaners wanting Skuse out. As it was he had a decent game and "Dave" wasn't special when he came on. Town lacked zip today and may have been a bit complacent but Brentford were in their face. We'll need to be more up for it on Tuesday because some of the teams below have started picking up points.
