Isnt it weird that Evans told us all the financial model wouldnt change and yet here we are spending more money in 1 summer than Mick spent in his entire tenure despite raising something like 12m in fees? I wonder why he lied about that. Or maybe Hurst explained to him that he would need to spend money to stand still this season unlike the last couple.
Still, I welcome this volte-face and look forward to seeing Nolan in particular as everyone is saying how good he is. Be interesting to see if all of a sudden Huws and Adeyemi get fit after his arrival. |
