Interesting to listen to Eddie Howe today after his team drew with Spurs but could easily have have won.He said the important thing is for his side to improve (last year Spurs won 5-1) and to go toe to toe with the best in the league.In other words they attacked .Are we are better side than a year ago ? Let's just think about how a MM team talk might go....
OK lads I know the opposition are struggling but they could just catch us out so we will sit deep and defend and take no chances.Yes I know we are at home but that doesn't matter.Defenders, if the ball comes your way then just hoof it down the pitch and let's see what happens.Midfielders, on no account should you pass the ball forwards and never try and run with it and dribble.As for the striker just run around like a headless chicken and see if their defence makes a mistake.If not then you know I am always happy with a nil all draw.Whats that ? You say that's not the way Ipswich used to play.Well I don't care.Fancy attacking football is for Sissons. |

We have a cretin as a manager.All 3 were penalties .Chambers should have been sent off for a second bookable foul.Knudsen had his arms round the waist of the Reading player and looking in the opposite direction to the corner.How is that not a foul ? |
