Great man management

Why appoint a manager who's never, ever been known for his passing football?

I watched a heck of a lot of his Wycombe team and they were a safety first, direct team.

Norwich were a high intensity, direct team, good on the counter.

Villa, he set them as a counter attacking team.

It's just frankly embarrassing, if Evans wants to play this way then appoint a manager who has a track record of playing that way or someone who is willing to do it and knows how to.

The last appointment we were after was Neil Warnock last December time, if that's to be believed. When has Warnock been known as a passing manager? It's all just bullsh1t, there is no vision or clue what he wants, if the bloke he wanted to replace Lambert is Neil Warnock. (I don't have anything against Warnock, he would do a fine job here but if you have this philosophy of passing football, then you don't appoint him)

This all doesn't matter.

All that matters is the green shoots, live in the stadium not over IFollow, you should know that by now Joe....

he will do well there, the last 3 appointment for Cardiff have been of the direct type of manager so he won't need to make massive changes to the playing staff.

Keiffer Moore will get Terry Conner's friday sessions again, he could be flames!

that's fine it's your opinion i disagree with it he's never going to be a world beater but we didn't have someone who the ball sticks to and he's a different option for us.

You've got to get mobility around him.

I think he's barely had a chance created for him, he's a decent player and he's allows others to get around him from midfield it sticks with him. In a well coached team he would be an asset, he's not going to get 20 goals a season but there's a player in there for this league.

This season’s Liverpool compared to last season
at 21:51 21 Jan 2021

I think the relentless schedule has affected them this season.

Playing such high intensity football the way they do is very hard work. Without a proper pre season either.

They have a team that in football terms is starting to get older and won’t improve much, it almost feels like the end of this cycle for the team.

Mogga speaks very well on it and Stephen Ward revealed he had Covid for 3 or 4 days.

Not sure that's come out before.

We do but we need much more than that.

We need someone off the pitch to strive for the best for the club put in the right infrastructure at the club.

You are deluded if you think it's just a new manager we need.

Why would you waste your time moaning about cleavage on TV? It's not even in the slightest bit offensive to anyone, there's some real sad people out there.

Webber is a smart cookie, think you are massively under selling him.

He's running that club and they are a damn sight better for it.

the evidence of the past 27 months suggests that won't happen.

But as always, i'll be more than happy if he proves me wrong.

Not if the team is set up correctly you don't.

Hawkins allows the midfield to get up and support him better than Norwood does. Again though, we don't create chances, no matter who's up front.

If you think the performances will be that much better with these 2 players then good for you.

But how are we going to get up the pitch and play faster football with these 2 in the building and get higher up the pitch, squeeze the opposition in?

The problem is getting the ball to the advanced players quickly and then pinning teams in, i don't see these two with their positions making much difference to that in terms of style of play.
