A result like this has been coming all season, our midfield and strikers have worked miracles all season to pull us out of the excrement that is our central defence!
We struggled to contain league 1 opposition, so why would we expect them to be any better in the championship?
Far be it from me to criticise KM but to not get better CBs over the close season and January could come back to haunt us, and the goal difference backs this up unfortunately! |

KM was a relived man when the winner went in, not seen him so animated.
We were shockingly bad in the second half, if you can’t be good, be lucky, that certainly applies tonight!
Our defence is bordering on comical and I for one am getting fed up with the hospital balls our keeper and defenders play to each other other. |

Lots of bad and good traits in this performance!
The latest worrying trait being our inept performances in the first half!
I’ve said it before the season started and I have seen nothing to suggest that our centre backs are not championship standard.
Second half we were a different side, yet again!
Whatever KM says at HT, he should say it before Kickoff!

I think Broadhead can do Hirst's job until he returns, he holds the ball up well and carries a greater goal threat. Certainly more of a threat than Ladapo or Jackson.
Hirst's injury does highlight our need for another quality striker in January, I'm sure KM will find our club another gem. |

Sorry buddy but I have to disagree with your opinion on "Harry Clarke....can’t shoulder any blame for Stephy Mavididi’s goal on Boxing Day".
Firstly, I love Harry's passion for the club, but Clarke was at least 20 yards from Mavididi and his RB position when he received the ball to run virtually unchallenged towards goal, this was far from being an isolated occurrence, especially in the first half.
We were fortunate to concede just the once from the Leicester left wing due to Harry's continual trekking into the CB positions, and leaving Mavididi with acres of space to run-into.
Lets hope he controls his enthusiasm to get drawn towards the ball when our CB's are already there to deal with the threats. |
