| News Comment | Town Complete Quaner Loan Signing at 22:45:04
Ha ha. Blues1 I will hope he signs for us in the morning but love a good rumour. Looking forward to seeing team sheet on sat. Think this fella will be fine in champ and also potential return of skuse and huws. Well probably just skuse but live in hope. |

Hopefully just a rumour and we sign pilkington. Off Ipswich fanzone. Big physical presence but goal tally not great but trust lambert |
| News Comment | Chambers: Positive Results Will Come at 09:07:02
What will be will be. I have every confidence that lambert given the right tools will sort this team out eventually. But what divison that will be in is looking increasingly like div 1. But no one is dying, so we build and go again tomorrow. |
| News Comment | Lambert: We Didn't Do Enough in Both Boxes at 20:31:59
Basically we are up the creek this season. The players are not up to the job and Lambert has his work cut out. To be honest I did not think there was a lot in it first 30 minutes but that dreadful pass from nolan cost us game, as that turned the tide and then we were always on catch up. Lambert is trying to keep it positive but must know we are nowhere near where we need to be. Hopefully he can turn it around but for now looking forward to visiting my sister and family for gillingham's away next year. Ffs. |
| News Comment | Ipswich Town 1-1 Preston North End - Match Report at 19:47:00
Barring the shambles that was that free kick (still seething about that, being a keeper I am not happy with narts organisation at all, a gift of a goal). Was great to be there today, if we were not in such a dire situation would not be so much of an issue. Chalobah for me is not a midfielder but does his best. Thought roberts put in a shift and actually front three were all good. Lacking quality in midfield and goalscorer. Should be ok though i reckon. |
| News Comment | Lambert to Be Confirmed Town Boss in Next 48 Hours at 20:41:10
Not too worried about Lambert, sure he will do a good job. Really gutted about Hurst, deserved his chance, but everything that could go wrong did. Shame. Ian Culverhouse on the other hand FFS!!! Ha. |
| News Comment | Five Changes as Blues Face Brentford at 19:33:55
Right formation, wrong personnel. Hope I am wrong though. We only need one of Skuse and Chalobah in midfield not both. This is not a 3 5 2 by the looks but a 5 3 2. Not sure they are wing backs. When you play 5 3 2 you only need one defensive midfielder otherwise we are playing a back 7. Well better safe than sorry. |
| News Comment | Hurst: Hard to Take as Performance Should Have Been Good Enough for Win at 19:51:19
Performance sounded decent and stats backed that up. Just lacking cutting edge bit think that will come. Nit sure about the skuse chalobah axis not working for me. Neither offer much going forward and think we only need one of those type of players in the squad. |
| News Comment | Town Launch New Kits at 18:19:15
Wo wo wo woo Stringerbell. The classic early 90s away orange. Stuff of dreams that |
| News Comment | McCarthy: Smile Back on Luke's Face at 20:51:02
Great to see Luke H back. For me I always preferred him to Skuse in that defensive midfield role as he was more of a tenacious tackler. Think it was to his detriment that he played alongside Skuse because he had to force himself to play a game that was not his. Lets hope we see the best of him now! |
| News Comment | Milne: Stay With Mick at 18:51:34
Don't worry @Brownie I will not be sweating on anyone. :-) As a club we are in a bad place. We are essentially a one man team and he is on loan. I wholeheartedly disagree with the notion that you cannot play attacking football on the budget we have. But I think alas MM is incapable of getting us to play in that way and the personnel he has picked have not been the right ones or used in the right way. Time for MM to move on but alas doubt he will as there is a contract and money involved, so we are stuck watching a side who are lower mid-table for the foreseeable. |
| News Comment | McCarthy: Lincoln Unfortunate Not to Win It at 20:57:38
Yes busterjames. John Mcgreal oh John Mcgreal. Cannot wait for that chant back in the stands!!!! The last time we pinched an ex town player from col to manage town it did not turn out too bad. Although record is not that great over the season. But at last 10 games have gone well. |
| News Comment | Town 0-1 Southampton - Match Report at 22:50:10
I am not going to whinge as we all know what we saw. Although I must admit that I thought I would never say this but we miss skuse. Him and bish are our best midfield pairing and we would also be good to look at adopting the three at the back more often think Ming's and Parr (when on form) would cause some issues. |
