If this news is correct, I cannot think of a better partnership to get us out of the proverbial £$%& we are in at the minute.
It may not be pretty, but what I would give for a boring 1-0 win at the moment...especially after not winning at home since March 31st.
For those on here that are not happy with McCarthy, take a good look at our league position and tell me you would like to see us relegated to the 1st Division. Hope this brings the fans back because we need good support from here onwards. |

As has been mentioned many times this season, it is not down to Leadbitter. But the management behind Ipswich Town FC, a new contract should have been sorted out last season.
I would like to know where the problem lays, Evans for not wishing to lay out more money or Clegg for his pathetic negotating and being on a different level to the players. If Evans is so successfull why has he failed with his negotiating with the many players that we have lost out to on transfer fees. |

2 big screens in the Britannia/North and Churchmans corner would help, but cannot see Marcus Evans putting his hand in his pocket for that. It has taken 2 years to get Sky in the lower Britannia.
Lowering the price of season tickets will not help, but it is worth looking at the prices you have to pay if paying on the day.
The club desperately needs a song for the fans to be associated with, The Supporters Forum tried very hard to come up with a song but they were all very samey. Reason the club would not use a popular song everytime the team scored is that the club has to pay a royalty. But there again you will not please everyone on this board |

I am not a supporter of Clegg but we are all Ipswich fans who ever is in charge and to hear the crowd singing at the end of last nights game was music to my ears.Many season ticket holders did not attend last nights game thinking the worst, the reward of watching a decent game and getting the offer of watching the Burnley game for £20 is just reward. |

Play him alongside Scotland until Chopra gets his confidence back, as for JET he can stay on the subs bench ..... most overated player we have bought for a while, we cannot rely on his 30yard shots once a game. |

Blues 1 ................ The whole club needs a complete sort out from the top to the bottom, please tell me what Major Clegg has bought to this club.
Although SHEEPY made many errors while leading this club, he always faced the fans in good and bad times. Look at the number of staff who have left ITFC since ME took over this club, you cannot run a company with a change that leaves players, groundsman, clerical staff,electricians etc with no faith in the company. Long serving staff will repay you with loyalty and are normally a hard working core. |

Obviously Simon Clegg is loved by a section of supporters, if Clegg had given Mc Cauley the 3 year contract he was after last year we would not be in the trouble we are in at the moment. Think again about what Mr Clegg is doing for Ipswich Town FC apart from organising Olympic Tickets for the Marcus Evans consortium.
It is also about time Marcus Evans faced Ipswich Town supporters and explained what is happening at Portman Road. What a good call to get Fabian involved in the background, along with Simon Milton we need ex players who would give anything to help the cause.At the moment we are just bubbling along and spiralling into the 1st Division, where we will stay until eternity. |

Our club has lost its heart since Roy Keane ripped it apart, but it makes me think what the hell is Clegg doing at ITFC. You also have to take a look at the faceless owner we have, since Evans saved us from financial ruin we have been on a downwards spiral.Take a look at how Norwich City turned it round and bought in players from a lower league with more pace and bigger hearts then the Maradonas we presently have.
