Its a CEO who has a proven track record at a solid championship club and was once offered a job at Man Utd... It's a big step up from where we are as a club at this moment in time.

Hello from a first time poster...
It's good to see he's getting regular game time and doing well in League One, but let's not get carried away; It is a drop down in level of football, after all. The spell will do him good for sharpness and confidence and if he can come back and provide competition for places then so much the better, but MM will know what he needs to work on and will be watching very closely, I'm sure. No doubt the club will want to see what transpires and will be in no rush to do anything hasty with regards to a permanent deal.
Also... a bit confused as to the comments regarding Jack Marriott on here... He's done ok since leaving - (22 Goals in 79 apps in league 2) and started very well this year in league one but he left at the right time in my opinion and good luck to him but I don't think his relatively good numbers would have been as good as that in the Championship. |
