Why let it bother you??
Firstly - "literally the most important 2 minutes of our season"? really? Anyone could see that we'd withdrawn our attacking intent and were comfortably seeing that out... Vale were done.
Secondly - You don't know people's circumstance so you shouldn't assume or judge. It could be any number of things meaning people need a headstart on the traffic; Trains, distance to travel, family situation... Leaving two minutes early might just (WILL) save 20-30 minutes in a car park and the subsequent town centre heavy traffic, not "a few minutes". With a child or two that needs to go to school in the morning... To get home to a partner that has been on their own with a baby all evening, that time saving is pretty valuable. Yes, it's annoying to have to miss the celebrations and atmosphere at the end but I see it as a gesture to my partner that we go but be mindful of the kids and her situation and try and get us all back as early as possible after the half hour drive.
That's my situation anyway, and I left at that point. As I did so some absolute tool, (might have been you?), said "FFS", (in it's full form), out loud as we walked past. Basically to a family with kids. Nice touch. I mean, I get it... we were playing the ball around near the halfway line and you may have missed about 4 seconds of the action, but come on...
