Legendofthepheonix these strikes are not all about pay, from a maintenance stand point its more about job security and protecting conditions of current contracts I.e amounts of nights and weekends to be worked, enhancements for nights and weekends. The proposed changes would mean more work for less money if you are lucky enough to keep your job after the cuts. They are also trying to change pensions which people have paid into for years, there's more to it than what the media puts out. |

Yes dozzel has under performed but with his skill set being mostly about vision and passing is it any wonder he hasn't shone in a team that doesn't make any threatening runs creating angles for him... or under Lambert he was playing too deep for it to be affective. |

Having watched the game I cant see why everyone is against downes? Had he not gone in for the tackle (which wasnt a booking) and they went on to score everyone would be saying he doesnt care and should of put his foot in. For me the 5 mins he was on the pitch we actually looked like competing in the middle. Unfortunate bishop wasnt anywhere to be seen and we where out worked/muscled l in the middle of the pitch. Kenlock isn't up to being a first team player here unfortunately |

Surely a salary cap is meant to stop clubs paying over the top wages to buy their way out of the league? And not to restrict all clubs to a limit that the would mean the clubs with the lowest income could spend as much as the clubs with more fans bigger stadiums and generally make more money than them. Glad to see some of the potentially key players returning, I've been thinking about the odd selections and rotation over the busy period the only way I can make sense of it is perhaps PL is taking a hit now to get minutes into the returning players and resting others ready for the important run in as he keeps saying nothing is won in until may and it's a long hard season. i was at the game yesterday and i still think that e are too weak in the middle we need some one that will do a robbie savage type job to hassle the opposition from start to finish also a decent attacking CM plus an experienced CB. but not sure who would come here at the moment unfortunately. |
