Pakistan two down for 17. Get them out cheaply and learn to bat properly and we may have a chance.

15-15 in the snooker final

Higgins has won 5 frames in a row to level.

I'm not the biggest snooker fan but do like to watch a good battle in a world final.

Makeshift strikers
at 11:31 16 Apr 2018

Random thought for a Monday morning I know, but it suddenly struck me that around the late 80s and early 90s, we had semi successful situations of converting players to this role.

Pretty sure Warky did it, Ian Redford had a 6 or 7 consecutive game scoring streak while being utilised up front, and Micky Stockwell was a revelation when he was played up top. 2 goals at Filbert Street sticks in the memory. Wonder why we did this though? I know David Lowe used to have long periods out but was there really no one else on the books who could have stepped in?

Football Combination matches
at 14:03 15 Apr 2018

Did anyone go to them?

I recall many a Saturday afternoon (2 pm k.o) at Portman Road while the senior team were away from home. Fringe players like David Barnes, Tony Kinsella, Tommy Parkin, Mich D'Avray, Irvin Gernon, Tommy Parkin etc etc. The A4 sheet of paper with the teams on them. The groans as it came over the tannoy that Town were 1 down at Roker Park.

Pretty sure the North Stand was always closed off and there was one lone steward who would have to fetch the ball if it went in there, disappearing from one pen and appearing in the other.

Later on, I remember skiving off school for the odd game as they moved to a Tuesday afternoon.

Sensory Processing Disorder
at 09:11 2 Apr 2018

Has anyone come across this, suffered with it, or lived with someone who does?

My close friend is going through torture with this at the moment, particularly around touch and the feel of clothes. I've known them to put on around a dozen sets of clothes before going out and still not been happy due to it being itchy, tight etc. It's not even usually a simple solution of wearing a looser item of clothing either.

Most of the support out there for this is for kids and not really that recognised in adults. Just wondered if anyone had any knowledge of anything that could help, or experience of it.

Is this the result that needed to happen?
at 21:28 13 Mar 2018

There is clearly no way we are making or even attempting to make the play-offs.

This ambling and stumbling to the end of the season with this staleness in place seems rather pointless.

Christ. What an awful, nasty, horrible time to support this club
at 20:55 13 Mar 2018

Whether McCarthy/Evans or whoever needs to go or not, something needs to happen and change at this club otherwise we'll be finished within a decade.

It's heart breaking to see crowd/management/board divisiveness like this.

What the hell would Sir John, Sir Bobby etc think.
