Surprisingly good - a bit deeper than I thought it would be (which was disappointing at first as I wanted guns and sh1t). Amazing sound track too.

Carry on.

Football trials for kids limited by heritage
at 14:25 27 Jun 2024

Anyone ever heard of a pro club offering trails only to kids of 'Eastern European Heritage'?

My kids playing for a Romanian-run club and they sent this note out to parents - wonderring if the above is normal / legal or whether to kick off.

I didn't get him involved in youth footy for the sake of trails and it's unlikely he'd be of interest to them with him being half-blind, but this has pissed me off all the same.

I've recently discovered twitter addiction is a real thing

This morning I've spent 1.5 hours on there and have witnessed a castrated man milk themselves and a fella possibly beaten to death. I need to wash my mind out, but will probably head back for more fairly soon. Stop the world.

Pretty daunting stuff - there are clearly many kids facing big problems. I hope they get help, but also hope that we learn from this for the next pandemic.

Question for gamers re xbox series x vs gaming PC
at 16:16 4 Jun 2024

Is there any point in getting a refurbished gaming PC for the same money as an new xbox X?

My boy is obsessed by improving FPS and I gather gaming PCs can go well over 60 FPS, but can a gaming PC which costs £400-£500 do that?

I've just had to call the police re 3 11 year olds

What a world.

I really didn't want to bring them into it, but the school would do nothing without reporting a crime.

Their parents had no idea what they were up to.

Sorry - letting off steam.

Anyone know about thick lining paper to hide textured wall paper?
at 17:06 17 Apr 2024

How thick does it need to be to cover an embossed wallpaper? Is 2000gms enough? Or do I have to get specialist stuff / re-plaster?

Sorry to ask - been googling but can't see any advice anywhere.

£646 per month for a two bed in dalston?! Who can afford that? This is completely mental:

No one should be buying these flats until this is sorted - the house-building / running industry stinks.
