| Forum Reply | When does Axel get a chance in place of Woolfy at 14:50 9 Mar 2024
Woolfy seems to be used as a scapegoat whenever we give away cheap goals. Burgess should’ve hooked the ball clear for the first and could easily be blamed. Onwards and upwards from here let’s hope! |

Ben White is someone who openly dislikes football - said he never watched when he was younger or takes an interest outside of the games he plays. Interesting interview with him where he mentions the intensity of the games and that all he wants to do is switch off from football in his personal life. |
| Forum Thread | Sitting with a friend/family at 12:11 6 Nov 2023
I've got the membership this year but no season ticket. For home games, I'm curious how you can sit near a friend/family if there is only 1 ticket available per membership. I know there's a friends/family system which I've added a few people on but how do you secure tickets next to each other at the same time? Same for Away games as well - any advice would be helpful! |

Been a struggle getting seats next to a friend at away games - I’ve heard you can link memberships to grab more than one seat. Anyone know how to do this? |

Went a couple of years ago and it's really lovely. Would highly recommend doing the Pico Do Ariero to Pico Ruivo hike as it's incredible. We rented a car and drove up for sunrise - Pico Do Ariero is a peak so you're over the clouds. You then head down the peak and up Pico Ruivo for more amazing views, then back down and up again. It took about 6 hours in total and isn't easy - would only recommend if you enjoy hiking. We also went on a few Levada walks through the mountains which were great, with one leading to a waterfall that you could swim in. If you're renting a car, then going from Funchal to the other side of the island via one of the roads is also v nice - you drive in between mountains and end up at fishing villages on the coast. Other than that we went to the CR7 museum (interesting to see how much he's won and some of the memorabilia), ate a tonne of food and went to a local wine festival. Plenty to do so i'm sure you'll have a great time - be conscious of the fact it's very steep so try and avoid booking a place at the top of a large hill. We made that error which made walking back to the hotel after a few beers and a heavy meal very unenjoyable lol. Hope this helped! |
| Forum Thread | Evans and Morsy at 20:05 25 Oct 2022
Can already see how much we miss these guys in the centre of midfield - Morsys positional sense is incredible, especially when it comes to winning the ball back, and the way Evans always drops in to collect the ball and move it forwards helps us move from defence to attack so quickly. Not to say Ball and Humphreys are playing badly |

Madeira is great if you're looking for a mixture of relaxing and hiking. We went last year in October and the weather was still mid 20s and lovely. Be warned, it's fairly hilly and we booked a hotel quite far up a very steep hill which wasn't fun after a heavy meal and beers. There also aren't beaches so a hotel with a pool is definitely recommended. Overall it as amazing - would recommend doing the Vereda do Areeiro (PR1) hike, which is brutal but beautiful. |

Thanks guys! I'm looking to get a ticket next to some family but there's currently nothing available. I've been told the person next to them hasn't been to a game since the 3rd game of the season so was confident they wouldn't be renewing. For those that haven't renewed a season ticket, do those vacant seats become available now or in the next round? |

Think I read somewhere that the second round of season tickets opened today - does anyone know what time? Hard to find info anywhere! |

| Forum Thread | Whats Holy got to do at 16:29 11 Sep 2021
One of the best keepers statistically in this league last year - yes not the most solid and has a mistake in him but fairly solid. Cook needs to drop his ridiculous ego and attitude. Just because players played for us last year doesn't make them bad. Terrible backroom staff hires showing in our defensive performances. How are we this bad? |

Why does Lambert still insist on playing players out of position in a formation that just doesn't work. Get rid of judge and put Jackson up top. |

Looks quality in the centre for stoke. So calm on the ball, happy spraying it around the pitch and putting in challenges left right and centre. |

My dad was recently diagnosed with Parkinson's. Having smoked throughout uni, I never understood the effects it could have outside of recreational use. Having left that behind and not smoked in a few years, been seriously looking into cbd as something to subside his side effects. May be slightly irrelevant to the original post but if anyone's had any similar experiences would be great to discuss! |
